V0.19.09 (September 5, 2026)

New game features:

- Some combat abilities can now only be targeted on enemies or allies that are in a valid list of forms

New game content (quests/writing/art/etc):

- Added WIP quest, All Hail the Kobold Queen!

-- This quest can be started when the Block by Block quest is open at the second stage. It starts via a random event that triggers in the Ice Roads region.

-- Kobold Earthcrafter, Kobold Gateguard, Kobold Chamberservant, and Kobold Princess artwork is by Rae

-- Additional testing and battle balancing remains to be completed, as well as the female Kobold Gateguard artwork. More traps/random events may be added as well.

- Added windmill build to upcoming settlement system. Art is by Mizuho

- Added town square, market, 3x3 construction site, stonecutter, sawmill, brewery, and more building artwork in the upcoming settlement system. Art is by GlobbinArts

- Added Farmer Queen Bee artwork by Mizuho

Miscellaneous:

- The town square in settlements is now a 5x5 building instead of 3x3

- Implemented new map fog system. This uses a grid approach that more accurately reflects the traversable terrain beneath the fog

-- The new fog uses a shader that rotate black and blue clouds over unrevealed areas, making them far more noticeable

-- Note that the new fog system is only in use on the new Grumber Old-Deep map. If the system is adopted, existing maps will gradually be converted over to use it

Miscellaneous:

- Added seven more souled item types. Art is by ClipTF

Cheat/Debug controls (patreon-backer builds only):

- Added debug options to increase or decrease all transformed party members' transformation strengths
