I am excited to announce that my new series, Choose Your Apocalypse has launched on RoyalRoad! 🥳

With 4 chapters already posted and 4 more coming this week, it's a perfect time to dive in.

Well the first 4 chapters don't really make me want to read more. His perception just went to black and he started making stat choices with odd repercussions. Kind of just makes me want to skip ahead to when the story starts. I will probably look at it again in a month or so to see if it starts up and makes sense of these first few chapters.

I'll check it out in a lit bit! It sounds fun but I really don't want to start a story with only a few chapters out, if it's good it will just be that much more frustrating when I run out after like 20 minutes

I will continue to read, but wow - the MC, not a fan. I agree with Brian. Here is the MC in a life and death situation and oh look there is a butterfly, oh a squirrel - which I seriously question if anyone would act that way, so to my mind it does not ring true. I understand you want your MC to be different, but for me he approaches implausibility heavy seasoned with "here is the next contestant for the Darwin awards" .

Fascinating! Thank you for the comment. I tried to lean heavily on the System enhancing his own internal imaginings for the selection process, but that can get lost in the shuffle. Honestly, it's difficult to convey the 'instant' imaginings as such. I modeled that part a bit on how I think of things, but it definately comes across as 'taking longer' in text. For me, it's like an instant, full picture pops into my head, taking less than a heartbeat, if that makes sense? Either way, I do really appreciate you raising the flag! I am not a perfect writer and seek ever to improve. 😊

The part where it is instant really does not cross over, rather it looks like he is stuck for ages in subjective time rather than having gotten very complex quick views. I enjoy him though once past that point.

Hello! Thank you for asking: Nothing [CYA] besides supporting the author until after April! After that, we will keep the 5/week posting schedule until Patreon is 16 chapters ahead of RR. From there the story will continue at a pace of 2/chapters week, two months ahead of RR.

I cant access cya chapters in collection. I am on cya-watcher membership. When clicking i get UPGRADE, then it tells me to pay now 0€, i proceed and get right back to Upgrade for access.
