Hi guys! I hope you are all doing great. I am tired. I am sore. I am cold. But I am moved in officially, no apartment to move out of, nothing. I am FREE of that terrible place. I haven't done anything except unpack this week so I don't have any fun updates. Don't be an avid reader and collect physical books. Moving them is the worst thing in the world. Packing, moving, unpacking, they're so heavy. Why did I pick reading as a hobby? Not even mentioning the comics and manga. God. I need a lighter hobby lol. I have gotten back into history books, I'm reading one on Henry V because I think it's fun to read about royal families and go "oh my god" at how EVERY FAMILY TREE IS A WREATH. EVERY DAMN TIME. I ALSO GOT A NEW BOOK ON HATSHEPSUT AND AKHENATEN SO THAT'S FUN. Alright, that's all I got this week. Time for the schedule...

Monday: No post, as is tradition. It is my partner's grandma's bday too! // MGOTM Poll

Tuesday: Mini-Week Day 1 (sneaky peak for everyone)

Wednesday: Mini Week Day 2 // $10 Tier

Thursday: Mini Week Day 3 - Patron Appreciation

Friday: No Post

Saturday: Poll Winner

Sunday: Poll Day

Now for the question of the week. Drum roll please.....

Which of these role reversals do you want to see the most?

I have too many rpg book manuals since i am usually the dm and truly packing those during moves is a paaain.

God I don’t miss moving, future tip, if you have suitcases that roll or large tubs with wheel and use that for any books it makes it 10 times easier

First of all, my apologies foe everyone, I have not slept in a while and I have to write this mad commercial out of my head - This came into my mind as a Family Guy sketch as I read about the books xD ,,Have you heard of the latest craze sweeping the drawing rooms of the modern household? The gramophone - a revolutionary device that not only brings the majesty of live orchestral music directly into your home, but also, as a courtesy, frees you entirely from the burden of reading. Gone are the days of lugging shelf upon shelf of cumbersome literature from dwelling to dwelling. The gramophone requires only a modest corner of your living room - and by "corner," we mean the entirety of it - but what you lose in floor space, you gain in culture. The whole family, naturally drawn to its magnificent brass horn like moths to a gas lamp, will find themselves wholly unable to locate, let alone open, a book ever again. This is not a side effect. This is a feature. No more heavy tomes. No more aching backs. No more asking yourself why on earth you chose reading as a hobby. The gramophone has answered that question for you. A lighter hobby? We believe you'll find this one weighs only slightly more than a respectable wardrobe."

we're torn between physical and digital books... we like the convenience (and weight) of digital, but the smell of a book... never know what's better... new book smell, or old book smell.

Emily Berthelet

naw that would be like... Watershipverse...

Hazel

Nooo not Watershipverse 😭 also… every time someone says rabbit hole my friends tag/ping me… I’ve been correctly read as a hornty bunny 😂
