Watch the prologue first if you miss the message

Joshua Selig

Brilliant, was hoping you guys would play this! Just a separate issue, when is the last episode of Kings Dilemma going to be released, is that next week?

Donald Hanby

Need that ending to King's Dilemma. lol Also, I wish that KD was able to be played digitally. It looks like something that could be translated over fairly easily.

Lee Dellbridge

I did think the other legacy game would finish first but let's see how Sully's "favourite" game translates to this!

Kevin Ralph

There is a version for Tabletop Simulator on the Steam Workshop. I just got through a full game with some friends recently.

Edith

I think they said it’ll be a Christmas treat 🧐

Steve Hicks

There's mention of the prologue. Where can we watch that?

jordan coli

It's on the main channel, It's the free one

Bri Rowland

Such a good episode! At a certain point I went to relisten to the berserker rules, because it did seem overpowered to use the sickle. But no, he found it from a pulled item card, entirely fair. To have the death sickle in the game for twelve more episodes is going to be WILD.

Christopher Finney

Now the crew on NRB since I been fallowed them since way back to the old studio got me in to patron are you happy now Dom. lol

Matthew Lash

The dice gods were definitely on jons side during this game.

Ruby

Thrilling continuation to this series!! I look forward to more !!

Mazzis

Never played this game myself so I might be wrong, but having the story deck in that order seems weird, surely it should be the other way round? So at the top it tells you when to take the next card? Like in the prologue when Sully should have taken it when he died.

Carter

Joined the Patreon just for this series! Can't wait to see where their game goes! Just watched the Prologue and Chapter 1 and can tell this will be a very fun series to watch. One small thing I noticed in the prologue and now in Chapter 1 is you play with the legacy deck upside down, this could cause problems in the future as some cards are triggered by events happening in game and if you are basically ignoring it while playing the game you might miss triggered events (one example of this is in the prologue the introduction of the ghost rule should have happened as soon as Sully died as the first death was supposed to trigger it). I don't know how many episodes you film in advance but hopefully you watch for that in the future.

Angry Badger

Yeah, Sully should’ve read that when he died. They missed one or two things, but overall the first two episodes were a blast for me. Dom’s character’s horrific hammer rampage in the first episode was perfect.

Will Seamon

I urge you guys not to draw the legacy deck cards from the bottom. If you do it from the top, the top of each card tells you when to flip it over and read it!

Mette Pur søstrøm

Uograded for ths series. You havent dissapointed so far. Love it so much

rojowo

some would call it... "Hammer Horror!" (buh dum pish)

rojowo

*SPOILER ALERT* I'm just glad Archibald Ambrosius was able to kill J.K. Row-- I mean, Interference "Terfy" Alleyne

Andrew Park

Brilliant two games, weird not sure who to root for the traitor or everyone else,.lol

Cris05

I love Betrayal Legacy. The Prologue and the First Chapter were really fun. I'm looking forward to the next ones. Cheers!

Sockpuppet Mogwai

Yeah but also that *Redacted for Spoilers* is way too strong with how hard it is to lose.

Will Seamon

He got extremely lucky with that item draw, I think it’s a much more balanced haunt otherwise!

Kelly Neal

Starting to think this is just a really dark and twisted real estate acquisition game.😆

HereDragonsRule

Love this game and the players but on page 3 of the rules it says “There are no discard piles. Any time you would discard a tile or card, instead bury that tile or card by placing it at the bottom of its deck or stack, face down.” for example the tick tock event card, no matter what Laurie picked the card stays in play. There was no removing it from the game.

Joshua Selig

I wonder if they have forgotten about King's Dilemma?

Mr. Samuel Scratch

Glad to see the Nerbs have seen "Longlegs." HELLUVA movie!

Joshua Hammack

I am just glad Sullivan played as I know he is not a fan. Also don't play with the deck upside down.

Jess Power

Loved watching KD over the past year and a bit and exceptionally excited for this one too. Go mad Jon!

Paul Ross

Pretty Sure Jon should not have gotten the sickle, he would only have drew the card but not been able to pick it up.

Alec Gideon

I love the sheer amount of detail Jon puts into everything his character does and then there's Dom with "I thought it was a number 1, but it was a runny number 2 and I forgot to pull my knickers down" :')

Jenny Mcduckerson

His character can still draw item cards. Just not pick up item cards that are on the floor (like when a character dies and drops them)

Josh King

Yeah agreed, he took a gamble and it payed off for him.

Edith

I don’t know, I feel like Jon’s speed should’ve gone down when using the sickle. It wasn’t technically damage, it was a card condition

Andrew Janiczek

Couldn't Dom have rerolled the 2 blanks when he pooped his pants? Also he rolled a 2?? Is this scripted???

Ferret

But his rules specifically state that his traits can't be lowered, not just immunity to damage.

Ferret

I love how Jon was like "I'm gonna roleplay" and everyone else decided to be goofy goobers, so Jon *doubled down*.

Jimmy Greaves

Dom was amazing in this episode!

Maddie

Great episode!! Upgraded my sub for this series 🐷

PrincessOzaline

Rules also state he can't pick up items, so he shouldn't even have had the scythe

Sean Hans

I think his rules said he drew items as normal, he just didn't stop to loot people (but I'd need to go back and listen to that part again to be sure). And as for the sickle trait loss, it's my understanding that all trait loss is damage and that he should take 1 blood if he used the original scythe for 2 dice. But the joys of House on the Hill is how terribly vague things get written. :) If/when I get to play my copy with folks, and if that niche situation comes up, I will advocate for this interpretation.
