Hey NeRBs, On top of our March Patreon Exclusive episode of BOTC, which will be appearing in your feeds before the end of the month, we recorded another episode with the lads from The Yogscast. The good news is that you’re getting it as a free bonus episode now!The bad news is that everything went wrong during that second recording because the gods of tech were not on our side. The zoom recording semi-froze, some audio did not record… Rough, because it is an excellent game and we didn’t want you to miss it. So here it is, anyway! We can admit that it's more a listening experience than a watching experience. The script used is I am Modavious By The Bazaar, find it here https://botc-scripts.azurewebsites.net/script/5832/1.0.0 or in the description of the video!Enjoy x

I didn't get a chance to say this when the original episode with Zylus & Nilesy came out, so THANK YOU for having those two on! The Yogscast & NRB crossovers make my heart so happy, and I was flipping out when I found out that Zylus was in the previous video / this video <3 <3 <3 Now to get Ben (Ben Edgar of the Yogscast, not Daddy Ben) in NRB's videos, ahh... I WOULD DIE HAPPY.

Jess Power

Staying up way too late to watch this.

Hammerdash

Fun game, not bothered by the tech issues at all though I understand how frustrating they must be on your end.

Lindsay M.H.

As someone who has turned episodes into "podcasts" on long drives, this is still great! When you originally said "technical difficulties," I thought the quotations would turn out to be having to rerack real fast lol

Kyle King

Some thing that could be really cool is for the wizard to wish for a demon ability or a minion ability that is not on the script.

Beth

I didn’t mind the tech issues at all, this was a great game! I really like Josephine in this, it’s terrifying being the demon as a fairly new player but she keeps it cool 😎

Cyngb

Very interesting game. Great use of the Cerenovus madness to make Laurie look guilty and a really fun Wizard rule. Also helped that Nilsey did as much for the evil team as the minions…

xOxXiX

So, so good ! Well done [insert winners here]

Eliska Duchtikova

Very nice job from Josephine! She is learning quickly.

Mike

What is happening with everyone's video feeds? I know they use Zoom, I guess the host (Laurie?) was having trouble getting a clean feed from everyone else?

Euan Willis

It says in the description that they had technical issues and only realised after the game. They also said this is an extra one and the 'official' patron exclusive will come out later

Bryon

I am thankful that NRB posted the game despite the technical issues. :)

Bryon

The game was great! Ken has become an amazing narrator.

Jess

Great stuff, and I would almost certainly choose the same minions!

N. K.

Really enjoyed this one! I don't mind the technical issues at all as this feels like an unexpected present. Also: Did anyone else notice that Mara didn't do her "Hey there, we haven't spoken" nomination?

Kyle King

@daddyben …. If Josephine decided she wanted to use her fisher man ability immediately in order to get advice on who the best person to kill is … 1 would you let her since it’s the night time and 2 would you have told her the cannibal ?

Electric Ninja

I’d recommend watching the Script World Cup, but won’t spoil the actual game or results

Kyle King

What YouTube channel ?

Mazzis

Haven't watched the episode yet and I barely understand what you're saying, but the Fisherman ability is used during the day

Kyle King

You will have e to watch it…. She is the demon, but gains the fisherman ability. If it truly has to happen in the day though and she can’t ask it at night I guess that answers that question though

Mazzis

Watched and yes that's right

Kyle King

Yeah I think so although …. With the wizard ability …. In theory you could wish the ability to use abilities during the night. Still up to the story teller to allow for it or not

Lionel Steele

Why did Ben say Josephine was "absolutely bricking it"? She picked two competent people... and she chose two minion types that gave considerable latitude in playstyle.

Kyle King

Honestly Mara is really good at this game. She tried so hard to give hints to kill the actual cannibal

Kyle King

What a game I really like this script more of this plz

MyBooty!

ahh good ol "shitting bricks" which for some reason means nervous beyond all belief.

MyBooty!

I expected some horrid tech issues but that was super coherent and some of the paused feeds on people were hilarious. Thanks for the post

Lionel Steele

Ah, I see. It's UK slang... I should have known.

Bob Swan

It's always a Joy to see Mara. I loved her Wizard wish. Happy that Josephine survived and won. Well played everyone especially the evil team. P.S Josephine was my cats name so I will always be rooting for her in any game.

David Bea Wright

This game was so fun! I’m glad it was shared even with the tech issues. I watch while I work, so I only get glances up anyways and the audio was fine.

Ryan Winwood

Yeah, that Wish was great. Just big enough to mess with people and alter the strategy of the game, but just subtle enough that they don't notice immediately and the price for it wasn't too high.

David Hayter

Amazing game, Josephine was great getting her info out via other people so she never had Emily or Laurie turn on her.

2026-09-06 14:00 Why did the storyteller tell Dom to go to Zylus on Day 2?
2025-03-25 23:22

Grant Zabel Sr.

Good players after a couple days are offering themselves up for a kill. If you are a good player, and it’s nearing the end of the game, maybe try not to die. Good game Mara and Chris, Josephine made a good move with her 1 after dom died. They asked Mara who she wants to nominate. And she can’t decide, but ends up nominating and trying to make a case for one (SUS)

Where's the Legacy Betrayal episode?

ElloryQueen

Awesome game! Josephine is really coming into her own. I think one more time as the demon and she gets the 5th one free! She picked great minions and it's always entertaining watching madness. That wish was glorious as well. Super fun, and the tech issues weren't that bad. The editing team did a great job piecing it together.

_colin

Just wanna shoutout Sullivan for a sec. He's so funny and likeable. Cheers, Sully! <3

RegressionRegression

Really exciting episode, great job everyone, etc. etc. Also: Sully gets tea at the pub?!

Alice Ryder

I'd love to hear more of the rationale behind these choices! Thanks for sharing.

Ruth S

Yes!! I do this too!

Ruth S

Well well well, what another exciting day at the Gilly Grunka Stationary Factory… Loved Ken’s deadpan delivery of all the players’ stationary-related deaths 😅 📏 📐 📄

Doc TK

THIS WAS SO GOOD
