Surprised, and somehow simultaneously impressed/annoyed that these old characters haven't been retired yet, considering some of the figures are children (and I think the first of any play through I've seen where everyone decided to keep their elderly character in). Although, admittedly, it makes more sense for a coven of wizened occults to keep returning to the same house as it does for a different small child to be invited to this place every 30 years or so (a role that my wife took on in each game with relish).

This game seems very weighted toward the "survivors!" At least in the early game. I can't wait until the final episode for a bunch of torpor'd vampire Magoos just wandering around and somehow avoiding catastrophe.

I do imagine in a world where you are playing this for funsies and potentially playing multiple games in quicker succession, it would probably be a drag if every haunt was impossible so I do think you see kind of a balance of "this is really hard for the survivors to win" vs. "this is relatively quick and painless."

I love this series. Really, but I wish the patreon had more regular content. Like even once every other week would be nice. It used to be more frequently than now. But also I know yall are getting ready for tour and cruise and expo too

Oh to be clear: wasn't a complaint and more an observation. I think if there's ever a Betrayal Legacy 2 release, it might be interesting if the devs have the first few be PVE if that's their intent, as then a traitor being unmasked could be even more of a shock.

Very interesting how each haunt is weighed towards a certain team. Considering the general difficulty of Legacy for survivors, having a practical gimme for them encourages players to not gun for omens (so they can be traitor and win automatically) as some haunts could be survivors-leaning.
