But if Brooke was always the imp she should’ve registered as a “yes” to an empath day 1. I think if she was the spy that registered as good until he got a read of “yes” meaning she’d become the imp by being starpassed to.

i think tom didn't have to beat himself up too much over killing elliott, because they were the uncontested second outsider claim (as opposed to 3 billion drunks). yeah everyone forgot about it in the moment but i feel like had elliott lived, somebody would've remembered the outsider count (which i even remember one person doing earlier in the session!)

The "empath reads" was going beyond letting people drawing their own conclusions though, and was affirmatively deceptive in my mind even if you can argue those were not technically false statements

please correct me if i am wrong, but it seems to me that Tom could have argued that he was the actual drunk the whole time. that would explain his empath reading. pete got sully as drunk because sully was spy. and brooke got sully as drunk because she was the demon. that might have put the sus on brooke, ya?

Luke as Fortuneteller persistently in several games confuses identifying someone as the demon with identifying someone as evil. It gives evil a tremendous boost. And it is extremely frustrating

Well I’m 5 years late, but couldn’t Tom have said that Brooke was the spy who was just star passed by Elliot last night, and that’s why he always had a 0 and then finally a 1? Maybe he had already said he had a 0 during final 3 which would just be another beef I guess as that’s impossible for a good empath.

People constantly get tricked so easily. Adam in this game made the excellent play of hard-claiming Chef to the Ravenkeeper in his first conversation of the game, and planning to bluff an important role to everyone else, in an attempt to bait a Demon kill. That's a good strategy and makes sense. But then, his very next conversation, Adam talked to the Imp and ALSO claimed Chef, telling him exactly what the plan was, simply because he "trusted" the Imp's "I have reason to believe you are good" statement. Why would you do that??? You've just slashed the tires on your own car by doing that. If you're going to setup a bluff like that, you can't tell everyone you talk to about it. I feel like that should be common sense. Tell the FIRST person you choose to trust (a random person is statistically more likely to be good and you can make a call based on social read), and then DON'T TELL ANYONE ELSE. Telling multiple people the real bluff just defeats the purpose in such an obvious way. God I was so proud of Adam for how he handled the first part of that, and then he just biffed it immediately for literally no reason.

Its been 5 years but here how i think tom could have sold it. Brooke was the spy who was star passed to by elliot. Nights 1 and 2 brooke spy registered as good. Once "empath reads" reached sully who people suspdcted could have been evil, brooke the spy starts to register evil instead.

I think Tom should have thrown himself under the bus in that last round, just openly admit to being the Demon and asking everyone to kill him (or maybe just hint at it), which might've convinced at least some people that he was actually the Spy, and that Brooke was the demon. TBH, I'm amazed it got that far, especially after Adam heard him joking about eating old lady faces, lol.

Correct me if I’m wrong but in the last round to combat Adams question he could’ve said Brooke was the imp, Sully was the spy who feed Brooke the rolls to verify an undertaker claim, Pete was a sober Ravenskeeper that say the spy as the drunk, and that he was actually the drunk where the 0 should have been a 1 at first and the 1 should have been a 2 sitting next to the spy and the imp. Happy to be on board!!

Actually, Tom's final kill wasn't even the problem. Elliot was as much confirmed by outsider count as Jon was. He had just maneuvered himself into a corner before since he had no one left to really shift the blame on. Still did a great job.

Spy can register as a good and as a townsfolk or outsider, even if dead. Daddy Ben decided that Sully would register as an Outsider (specifically, as the Drunk) to back up Sully's Drunk Monk claim.
