Artem Nesterenko

Do you ever prepare/script some bits in advance? At least for some patreon episodes, right?

Christopher Hukins

Now that you have your own studio, is there any chance of NRB running a game of Ten Candles? I played it after hearing about it through one of your lists a few years back, and I think the NRB Crew would do an amazing job of not only showcasing, but performing it.

Shadowdancer

Are there any episodes you filmed but didn't end up sharing? And why? Did a game ever fall flat so it wouldn't be entertaining enough to share? (Bonus question: is there any way we can clone your group to have our own NRB group?🤣 I see potential for a new kickstarter 😜)

Hugh G Rection

Did anyone actually enjoy Catan? Nobody playing seemed to be having fun, it seemed to be a case of play to a bit to hide frustration. (For context I also hate catan).

This question is directed for Adam, is there one game apart from Monopoly, that you absolutely unequivocally refuse to play? Even one that might be insanely popular?

Urganot

Is boardgame masterpieces going to return?

David Donaldson

Been rewatching old BOTC and there was a comment on how many short games/re racks have been done. Would there be any plans to watch these as a one of compilation video?

Oliver Dodwell

Would you ever consider playing the WWf Card game called WWF Raw Deal? It's fantastic once you get going and make some of the decks they really have their own identity like Kurt Angle. Your Freaking Hero specialises on Chain and Submissson moves. You can use the Three I's too. My group is one of the last ones running in the as its been defunct for years.

Shannon

What are you boardgame icks? Things will put you off buying/playing the game despite other things about it appealing to you.

Sam Coleman

Aside from monopoly, what are some board games that are never going to be seen on Board Games Club due to being too boring/long/outrageous?

Shannon

Mine is co-op games with quarterbacking, excessive memorisation or when a game relies on you having quick reflexes (such as Dobble)😅🤣

detritus101

Did you get to play anything new at UKGE? If not, did you see anything in particular you really wanted to give a try?

Zak Cates

I’ve started a small boardgame club at the elementary school I teach at and I would love recommendations for games that are accessible for the 10-12 y.o. range. I’ve got Carcassonne, Dixit, Skull, Saboteur, Ubongo, Rush Hour, Jenga (ugh, it’s so loud!), Uno, and a couple other random games. I already have a big wishlist with a lot of the games you’ve played on the channel, but I’d love to know your thoughts! P.s. I’ve already thought about it, but I don’t think any of the House Rules variants will fly with the admin.

Pawel Ciemniewski

You guys said that you love video games. I'm very curious what's your favorite video games of all time? :)

Zak Cates

Follow up question: Other than “Guess the Card,” what do you think are the most enjoyable games that can be played with a standard 52 card deck? I’ve taught my kiddos Egyptian Rat Screw and they LOVE it, but it’s pretty brutal on my cards.

Sarah Lebaigue

What board games have you veto-ed from the channel (not including the obvious like monopoly or cluedo) Love the channel has gotten me through a tough start to this year! Xx

Hugh Raynor

What’s the best ‘homemade’ board game you made (as a child or otherwise!) - How did it play?

Kit Geraghty

Bourbons vs Custard Creams: fight(?)

Jelayna

Best part of the new studio? Or funny/weird/favourite memory from Draughts?

Tara Scanlon

are there any board games that you initially hated/thought you’d hate that is now one of your favourites? i initially didn’t think i’d like clocktower but it’s now one of my favourite things!

Alan Wilkinson

I love the idea of some wrestling related roles. John Cena: he always registers incorrectly to info roles (You can't see him). Randy Orton: If he is mad he is another character he can instantly cause the death of another player (RKO out of nowhere). Shawn Michaels: each night choose a kliq of 3 other players. If all are good they cannot be executed.

Olivia Bulmer

What’s your favourite board game to play by yourself?

Chris Brown

Have you seen Smosh’s videos where they play Trivial Pursuit - Try Not To Laugh ?

Laura Nixon

Hi! How do you manage your time/switch your brain between your wrestling and board game content? Also, what would be your death row "final board game" and with who from the NRB team? X

Justin Hesketh

Will you guys be playing Ready Set Bet on the channel? Would love to see you guys get totaly sucked into it. Please Please Please have Terri rolling the dice and calling the numbers. :)

The Boozepope

Will we ever get any more top 10 lists about games by category or best of the year? I know making lists is pretty common with the other channels you all run but those videos really helped me start my board game collection

Olivia Schultz

Can my friend Will get on an episode of blood on the clocktower? He's moving over to the UK from New Zealand and we've told him he should befriend you all and showcase some prime NZ blood on the clocktower playing 🙌

Sally November

Was it a mutual separation to not be at Draughts anymore? More space and lighting is better, but the vibe was amazing at Draughts.

Gerrit Coulter

What is a game you love, but just won't work on NRB?

Fen

Plans to expand the brand to include a larger network of content creators (like Dice Tower)? We could do with another wide-ranging collection of writers, painters, players and reviewers with a European location.

Raymond Purvis

Will the group ever play a Mansions of Madness scenario? Ps- love you guys! :)

Joe Sapwell

Did you pick up any good games at the UKGE?

FanaticalLucy

When cosmic encounters got 100k views, you guys did a celebratory 2nd episode of the game. Are there any plans to replay other games that did really well?

Thomas Allen

What's your favourite expansion for Unmatched? And/or what's your favourite character to play in Unmatched?

Michael Lloyd

What are your top most embarrassing or shameful board game confessionals? Also ordering a ham and cheese sub from subway - forgivable quirk, or an indication of improper socialization?

FanaticalLucy

I think it's because board game club and clocktower is intended for their regular audience while house rules is intended to attract new vieuwers. Videos with swearing tend to do worse in the algorithm, so you kinda want to avoid that in the videos that are supposed to do well in the algorithm. But that's just my personal theory.

Quinn Hogan

Adam mentioned a little bit of this on say anything but what goes into picking a game and it's cast?

Zach Murdock

How did you originally get into board games and what made you want to start NRB? Cheers!

Jordan

What game would you recommend for a group of 5+ people we've been playing one night ultimate werewolf and really enjoy it so some sort of social deduction game would be preferred.

Soapy Lampert

How did you come up with the intro music for Board Game Club, is it an original composition, or just one of those royalty free tracks?

OuroCat

Why the move to the new studio? Just because it's amazing? (Because it is!)

AceofTwades

Would you ever bring back the board game masterpieces series?

Rollin Wonnell

Have you thought about having the members of Shut Up and Sit Down on as guests for BOTC? I know that they have been very positive about the game in the past, and I think it would be really cool to see how they interact with the NRB crew.

Alex Goodenough

There have been a few NRB regulars that we haven't seen in a while, including Brooke, Blair, Carley, et all. Will they be back soon? Are any of them no longer going to be involved in NRB?

Kevin Simpson

What is the longest game or rpg that u's have ever played?

Abhishek Khemka

one of my favourite games! extremely well written and superb voice acting

Virgil Alighieri

(Without naming names) Have you ever had a guest that didn't vibe well with the group?

Ken Pedersen

What's the best way to send a board game to you and how do you decide which ones to play? Oh and also, can Tom just narrate my life???

Vinnie M

Would the NRB crew ever look to play through a legacy game like Pandemic Legacy or Betrayal Legacy. I think it would be amazing to see one of these played out over multiple episodes!

programalice

Now that you’ve moved studios - what was your favorite memory at Draughts and a change for the better your looking forward to at NRB v2?

programalice

What’s a movie, video game or other media property you’d love to see as a board game (ala fast and furious)?

eric

I noticed that Blair hasn't been on Board Game Club for a while. Just like Brooke, but I know Brooke's moved back to the US. Not much of a question, but I hope they're doing ok ❤️

Luigi Scazzari

Totally random question(s): who, in the crew, is the best cook and who plays musical instruments?

Luigi Scazzari

As one of my players in a RPG put it " the most depressing book I have ever played " 10/10

Nameer Haddad

How do you film the talking heads? Do you record all of them at the end of the game or do you take a break during game-play, or what? Thanks!

john signer-romero

How does a new person get added to the group? Is there an interview process or do you just grab a friend?

Scott Collier

Any chance of Collection Starter, Board Game Masterpieces or any other sort of Discussion/Review/Top 10 show coming back? Collection starter got me into NRB back in the zoom days, and I’d love to see it return, but I understand it got cancelled for I assume business reasons.

Nick Smith

I don't think I've ever seen Laurie and Tempest on screen at the same time. Is Tempest just an elaborate character that has gone too far, and Laurie is afraid to stop at this point?

Chris G

With this many actors, is “NRB Presents: Board Games - The Musical” on the horizon?

VLord Armstrong

I saw twilight imperium on your shelf on multiple videos. Will there be an episode for that big box?

Babbage Cabbage

Is there any plan to have Teri on screen for a BGC?

Nathaniel Ropski

Have you ever thought about designing a board game? Like about wrestling, Chelsea Football Club, etc.?

Paul Waller

For me it's Binding of Isaac: Four Souls. Deciding how to interpret the rules is half the game sometimes.

Joseph Shufelt

What taboo thing would each of you have in your own cult?

Paul Waller

I presume the move to the new studio means a departure from Draughts. Any words about how instrumental the support from Draughts has been to the success NRB? I've never been Draughts but I'm looking forward to doing so in the near future.

Aaron VanderDussen

What are some criteria you use for deciding what games get featured on board game club? Previous experience, # of players, general vibe, that sort of thing?

Devon McCullough

What game would you love to play for board game club, but for logistical reasons (not good on camera, too little chance for player interacting, etc) probably won't happen?

Bryant Randall

Will the NRB crew ever give credit to No Holds Board for the structure of No Rolls Barred?

Paul Waller

Are there any Kickstarter projects for new boardgames that the team have their eyes on?

Paul Waller

Are there any out of print boardgames that the team are looking to own but can't get?

Harrison Crook

What BOTC character best matches your personality?

Paul Waller

No question, just a demand for more Teri content.

NetWorkNgineer

I love watching the show, and I have backed both BOTC Kickstarters, but I have never played. Don't judge me! I work a lot :P Anyway I have always been interested does lying, even if its all socially agreed upon, ever cause real world problems between you guys? I imagine getting fully duped completely by someone in a game must hit hard even though its fun, like some of the early episodes with John are just amazing to watch.

Dean Houston

In a poker tournament, which NRB cast members would do the best?

Paul Waller

Can the team name some boardgames other than Monopoly that are also overrated? For me Joking Hazard is exactly this.

Bex Smith

In the 2021 end-of-year video, Adam mentioned his list of shame (games you have bought and not played yet). Did you manage to complete it? If so, what did you think of Space Base (it's a fave of mine)? Which was your favourite?

Adah Kinzer

Also Laurie’s explanation series

Adah Kinzer

General question: How is everyone doing? Are you all staying happy and healthy?

Jerrod Gruber

What is a misconception or struggle about content creation that you wish you could clarify for your audiences?

badge holster

what's your favorite thing about the new studio? :D

Clara D.

Considering you're planning to discontinue BOTC games on the main channel (outside of the Kickstarter episodes) and you've recently done games with Ben (as a player) and Patters, do you think you might play with any other channels/streamers/communities/events? For example, the main TPI channel, East Coast Gamers, Off Meta, BOTC Connecticut, Clocktower Con, etc? Have any of you gotten fanmail and/or do you have a PO box? Does Holly know that gavel-shaped lollipops exist?

Jelayna

Less of a question and more of a grovel, but can we please please please get new merch soon?

Calvin

Have you ever reached out to the Shut Up and Sit Down crew to see if they would like to play BOTC with you?

Anona Miss

If Adam and Sully were to get married, aside from Adam's competitiveness and Sully's need to play weird characters, what would be the inevitable cause of their divorce?

Harry Dersley

Are there any board games that you initially loved but subsequently grew to dislike? If so, why?

Nate Propp

Would you rather have hair for teeth or teeth for hair?

Joshua Hammack

How do you choose your games that you play? Also lovely new studio!

ProudMrDarcy

Name your ultimate all day game day, to the point of that day being legendary. Games (or just game!), best drinks, snacks, foods, the whole shebang. And second, with the new studio/view, when did all of you grow legs? I had always assumed Sully was some sort of muppet.

Steve Garrison

Which character in blood on the clocktower is your favorite and why?

Kerry Steers

So Twilight Imperium when? lol. I know its a LONG game and need to take a lot of planning. I just love it, and would see the NRB gang play it.

Shunk

Any plans to go a legacy game in the future?

Rhett Davis

Would you consider playing some higher strategy-longer games? I really enjoy the fun, party games, but some of the higher strategy games are some of my favorites. (Chinatown, Wonderland, Nemesis, etc)

Colin Cast

Any tips for starting your own board gaming group

Jon Lee

I would be interested in knowing more about the origins. Sort of how everyone met and how everything came together. I know many of you come from your shared love of wrestling through various other projects but you've got such an eclectic group of folks outside of that too and I would be interested to hear how everyone came together.

Abhi

(Question at the end). Suggestion for a QM round that would only work in an “in person with a live audience” setting. You can call it Don’t Jam that Jam. Basically, you play a wrestlers theme song and everyone in the audience will be singing along. The catch is, it is a “try not to sing/participate” round and you can target specific songs for specific players. Ex: CM Punk for Oli, Cody for Luke, Edge/Christian for Tempest, etc. You get some audience interaction/participation as well with this. My question is, would you do it? ;)

Ironspine481

Have you considered playing a legacy game as a series on the channel? Maybe it can be anther subscriber/patron goal.

Matteo Zappone

What ever happened to Lord of the Board?

Matteo Zappone

Also count me in on Sullivans Board Game Olympics idea!

GoldenRK9

Soft Cookies or Hard Cookies? 🍪

Assailant

What’s your favorite EPISODE

Joenell Luma

When will Luke join an episode to play Board Game Club?

Tommyhawk

I'm incredibly impressed with the volume of videos you produce so I find myself wondering how many games do you film in a day and how many days a week do you film games?

Steve Skew

How do you choose which games you play now that you're in your own studio?

Geef C

I would love to know if you plan a Lord of the Board 2, and if so, what would be the tagline to go with it?

Dru Daughtry

How is the season Three of NRB:BOTCT LIVE coming along?

Brandoooon

What are your oldest boardgame memories?

MisterD0nut

I remember they kinda answered this in the last one and, long story short, it'd be complicated and potentially spoil some games for people that'd want to try the game themselves

Shunk

Fair enough. I didn't see the last one I think. Oh well. Smosh did betrayal legacy and it was so much fun to watch. I feel like NRB would be infinitely better

DarkraiRogue

Absolutely loved the episode with Steven Bridges. How did getting him at your table come about? (It was mentioned Dan and Sully have known him for varying amounts of time?)

Bryce Koser

What’s your favorite board game you’ll never play on the channel?

socks

The new studio (i really love it, it feels less cozy, but also more room for big games) is that the same one I see in thumbnails for the wrestling channel? The almighty algorythm shows me your new wresting board games series, but since i'm not a wrestling person I've skipped them, but the studio looks similar?

GloomyBread

Now that you have the studio, will you consider playing a campaign game? Like Oathsworn or something

Christopher Stacey

The new studio is nice and big and full of potential, but in it's first appearance it does appear pretty empty and not as cosy as the old set. I understand it is a brand new set and plenty of room to adjust but is there is plans to add to it to make it feel more cosy like the couch in the old set for example? maybe a shelf to display the game being played below where the dangling feet are hanging?

Bobby G.

My question...my burning question, if you will. The Burn Book episode..."I haven't had hair on my head since I was 12; Let's Fuck." Who wrote it?

Fran

Are you planning on anymore role playing style or long play games? I love the party ones because you're all so funny and gel so well but would love more long form stuff again!
