Lunchtime upload! Was expecting this tonight so that's cool. More Blair in BGC is always a good thing. Sounds fun!

Amanda S

The Brooke vibes are so strong in Blair today.

MrJJ77

Can’t watch rn. Do they address Adam’s absence or the allegations against him?

Josh Lyons

Not in the discord. What’s up?

Stuart Reed

No idea what your talking about. Any post 2017 news?

Steve Pellikaan

Did I miss something? Where has Adam been?

Tobias Wallbaum

If the allegations Carley made, really are towards Adam, he is on disciplinary leave and NRB should address this soon, because as a paying Patreon, I will align my donations with my personal Value, and if I get the feeling the NRB Crew and management is aware of such things without commenting (transparency) and doing things to protect victims, would mean our values wouldn't align

Tobias Wallbaum

As a paying Patreon I am shocked to hear of the allegations Carley made. In connection with Adam's leave and his history, these seem plausible. We need some transparency and awareness from the. Management, as well as actions. To see where your core values lie and if they still align with mine (either that or I cannot in good conscience continue to support you). Normally I would say that there should be pathway for redemption but if Adam is the perpetrator, I don't know if he should get a third chance after already been in situations like that. Which brings to question what did NRB do to protect members and guest from becoming victims? What did NRB do as Adam friends to help him not relapsing in similar situations?? As hard as it might be, as Patreon of this Channel we deserve some kind of response to this.

Paul Harries

I told Adam to behave when I saw him during the Birmingham Expo. He may not have listened.

MrJJ77

Couldn’t agree more. Even if that is ‘hey guys. We will discuss the situation when we are able to.’

Will Seamon

I will be cancelling my pledge if the Adam situation is not addressed ASAP. I, like I’m sure many others did, truly hoped he had changed from the behavior he was accused of and admitted to a few years back, but if it’s been allowed to continue, there need to be consequences.

Mr. Samuel Scratch

Did a cancel, but resubbed after some actual cooling off/thinking. The other folks might be legally prohibited from commenting, EVEN saying they're aware and taking actions, and punishing the entire channel for the alleged actions of one person isn't fair to the other people who work hard to make it a fun, safe place. IF the controversy isn't addressed when it is legally feasible, I will not feel comfortable supporting the Patreon of any associated company, but it is unfair to assume the worst. There's actually a pretty good conversation going on in the Discord at the moment, if no one's aware. The mods are there and addressing what they presumably, legally, can. Always remember: The law exists to protect the system, not the people within it.

Ryan & Molly

Out of curiosity, how do we access the discord? We’ve never really used discord before, and it’s the one part of our patreon benefits we’ve never explored. We’ve meant to just to be able to find some BOTC games, but have no idea how to access it and have been a bit too embarrassed to ask!

Mr. Samuel Scratch

You can either download the app or go directly to the website in a browser, create an account, then link through this Patreon's member benifits tab. Discord can be a little daunting at first, it's a bit like self-contained chatrooms from the earlier internet of the 90s. Most of the relevant discussion is in the "chitchat" tab.

David Summers

Is that membership benefits tab on iOS? I can’t see it.

Mr. Samuel Scratch

I'm on Firefox on a PC, so I'm afraid I can't help ya there. It should be either on the member benefits tab, or near the top of the homepage?

Ryan & Molly

Thank you! Got it figured out. I had to use a computer to access the benefits tab. Didn’t seem to work from the app, but on a desktop browser I got it to connect!

Mr. Samuel Scratch

Yeah, the Patreon app is...not great. I never use it except to interact with comments when I'm away, as even trying to stream podcasts or video through it on my phone is INCREDIBLY unstable.

Adam Wardrop

Having scoured the interwebs for the latest, I have to say, if true, I am so disappointed in the situation. Not only has he caused harm to these women, but also harm to his cast and friends who work on this channel.

Simfers

Agreed. Bare minimum, I think we need an ackowledgement of what's happening, even if it's just a "hey guys, things are in motion behind the scenes but we can't say much yet for legal reasons". That would help restore faith that at least this is being taken seriously. I also think this ackowledgement shouldn't be limited to the patrons but should be on the public YouTube channel.

Simfers

This is gutting. I love this channel, it's brought me hours of entertainment and gotten me through some absolutely hellish times. I don't want to cancel. It also feels real bad to punish the rest of the gang for the actions of one individual. I hate this.

Adam Wardrop

It's a tough moral quandary for sure. I love this channel and it has been such fun content for years. While part of me wants to cancel, it's unfair to impact the rest of the cast who were, I hope, not complicit in the situation. Ideally a public statement of some sort would be nice, even if it's just a case of "We are investigating allegations" or something along those lines.

Josh Lyons

I love y’all and y’all ain’t gonna lose a subscription from me either way, but y’all do need to address the allegations from Carley.

Kunal Tolani

I'm not going to cancel yet, and hope you make a public statement at least as much as legally possible before next week's video. If not well I'll probably stop watching. This is disappointing, because I really loved the channel having found y'all a couple of months ago and gone through the entire back catalogue. But at this point, if there's any truth to the statements, Adam needs to be removed and we need transparency. All love to Carley and all the women caused harm.

Kelsie Birkholz

Please keep in mind that we do not know anything apart from a couple YouTube comments. I 100% agree we need some sort of update however I disagree with already forming an opinion and judgement based on half a story. We really need to have patience while we wait for a response

Kunal Tolani

I know, but the complete silence is deafening, and I will always believe the victim here, especially given Adam's history.

Joseph Cloud

I’m concerned about what is going on, but can we all please take a deep breath and wait. I know patience is no longer a virtue in this age, but let’s not bury a channel because of a comment on a YouTube video, troubling though it may be.

Josh Darby

I would love some more transparency on the issue. I know it came out not in your control but how you respond will certainly be the difference between a lot of folks staying subscribed. Take the Try Guys as a good example and good way to handle things.

Lindsay M.H.

Keep in mind that it is a business and an employee - There are legal reasons they may not be able to speak out immediately.

Lindsay M.H.

Assuming the comments on Carley's video are true (and there's no reason to think she wasn't being truthful), Adam is on administrative leave. Keep in mind that NRB is a business and an employer. As someone who has had to deal with similar situations in a place of business, there are legal reasons that team members may not be able to discuss it in real time especially if they *are* taking action. This happened on other channels before and there was usually several weeks to a month before it could be addressed publicly.

Lindsay M.H.

That's not always a feasible thing to say. While NRB often feels like a bunch of mates hanging out and having fun, they are all employees of a business. Your employer wouldn't be able to say that publicly about you either. What's important to look at is the facts - allegations have been made, it looks like the person who allegations were made about was put on leave before information was even public. Unless that person comes back from leave without it being publicly addressed or without clarity, as far as we know right now, the situation is being handled and the space is being made save.

Lindsay M.H.

Even working on the assumption that the allegations are true, it seems clear that NRB and their parent company went ahead and took action before any of this was public knowledge. Assuming the comments are true (and there's no reason to think they aren't), the person being accused was put on leave. That tells us that they are taking steps and action and likely cannot say more yet while it is being investigated - the same would be true at a linear TV corporation (we saw it recently with the BBC) and it would be true at any business. I had to deal with a worker who had a true mental break at work that included sexual harassment and we acted immediately to mitigate the situation, but I was not legally allowed to tell customers that's why she was gone.

Tim McFaul

To join the chorus here in the comments, Oli/the channel need to address the allegations. I understand that there may be potential legal ramifications, but as has been mentioned at least an acknowledgement and a statement that the safety and well being of cast members is being addressed. Silence makes them complicit.

J. Walker

Yeah, I'm with everyone else. You have to say *something*. Even as little as, "Something is going on, we will say more soon" or whatever, something has to be said. Stonewalling and giving your audience nothing isn't acceptable.

Robbie Glendinning

Just echoing the calls for Trident to make some comment. There have been rumblings since May at least if not earlier. It's probably not on your planned timeline that Carly has named names but given that the allegations include Systemic issues of a failure to protect cast/staff and fans i behooves you to acknowledge the discussion.

Ka Man Chan

Gutted to read about the situation. I'm cancelling for now. I hope NRB gives us a satisfactory explanation, but this silence is too much to ignore considering the seriousness of the situation.

4.I.S

Blair has unbelievable chaotic energy this game and I’m all for this new bit of Blair and Brooke melding into one person

Graeme Wells

I.will not be cancelling my subscription based on the accusations of an employee i will wait until facts are heard and there is no point punishing the rest of the team who work hard if this turns out to be true. If it does he needs lots of help to overcome his deamons

devilofneurosis

This is all very upsetting, I was following Adam when he and the people leaving Whatculture were just forming Cultaholic and all these allegations came out. I had hoped he was past this, that he had sort all the help he needed and had admitted he needed. This is feels like a nasty case of history repeating.

Alan Wilkinson

I have cancelled my subscription. Just incredibly upsetting

Adam Lorenz

I'm sorry for everyone else, but everyone also should have had a closer eye on Adam. This is incredibly upsetting as this is/was my favorite content on YouTube. I wish you all the best, but I have to leave 💔

Cedric Just Play

I cancelled mine as well.. love the channel but man being silent on these things is just so bad.. I can no longer support..

Pete

This is a nightmare for NRB; they suspended their main host; they have to follow both legal & moral codes. Provide content while doing it. The team is doing a great job adapting to the circumstance. They are still producing great content that I am paying for. I didn’t see a patron level where we get to see the companies emails. I don’t see why we have to punish a great team, providing great content, because we can’t have a go at Adam.

SirTof

Everyone talking about “THE SITUATION” but no one has come forward with hard evidence, a comment in a YouTube video is not evidence, and until such time where evidence is produced or a statement is said, I’ll just keep on enjoy the content,

Graeme Wells

Innocent untill proven guilty just cus of past mistakes we find them guilty. If its true then he should have learnt if not then he will leave anyway as so many people jumped on him first chance. Not saying carly is lieing

Dani

Finally watched the Patreon version of this vid. I am 100% here for Gnome Trolls Bard!

Megan Moore

Well I'm not cancelling. I'm sure there are a zillion protocols the cast have to follow when the previous face of their channel is currently under investigation. These things take time. If they speak up about the situation before the proper investigative process is complete, they could accidentally make matters worse for those involved. Adam is one person on this channel. Everyone that is still present are amazingly entertaining even with Adam on leave. I feel that complaining about why they're not speaking much on the topic when they literally don't have a choice in the matter, and thus ending your support over that alone, is quite childish. They bust their bums on this channel and have continued to post regular quality content even in the midst of this hiccup, while others complain from the comfort of their media devices that they dont know enough about the allegations yet. Laurie is just as amazing and talented hosting the episodes as Adam was. The entire rest of the cast have remained professional and have provided us with the same group chemistry we have always seen from this channel. And, they saw their channel grow by almost 100,000 subscribers in a matter of a couple short months. That wasnt just thanks to Adam. They all accomplished that. Adam must be beside himself at having to step away from NRB after such tremendous recent growth as it is. If the investigation goes well and he comes back, great. If he is found guilty, I will still support this channel. I loved Carly too and it's sad to see her leave. But we should just give the cast some peace and love and stop pointing fingers and whining about them following the instructions of their lawyers. It's quite frankly none of our business. All we should care about is the quality of their content, which they have continued to excell at. And this post alone is very sweet of them to provide us with. People who can't see that, frankly arent worth the worry, NRB. I'm sure there are many others who understand the pain of what you're going through, and will ride this wave with you. Sending all my love and support <3

John Gracys #1 Fan

Well said Megan! I'd love to see John Gracy have a more full time role on this show and obcoarse THE Dominic Allen.
