We’ve got a Patreon exclusive for you today! Uncle Joe has paid us an unexpected visit and he’s not very happy with a lot of the comments left on Communopoly. Dom has once again tapped into his tyrannical side (didn’t take much) to become Joseph Stalin, and insisted on reading and responding to your comments on state television (the channel)!

By the way, this isn’t the only Patreon exclusive content we have coming for you before the end of September. There is plenty to come, like September’s Unboxed podcast, which is coming tomorrow and features Sullivan, Teri and Jon announcing the upcoming episode of House Rules! And… NEMESIS! That’s right, we’ve got together a crew of unscrupulous cosmonauts in the studio to tackle this board game behemoth, and it’s headed your way on Saturday!

As you may know, we had also planned to bring you two episodes of Blood On The Clocktower before the end of September. Unfortunately, we were unexpectedly prevented from filming those episodes last week at very short notice. We have been trying to find a solution that would allow us to deliver those episodes to you on time, but unfortunately that is not going to be possible. Please accept our sincere apologies for this, and know that we are working hard to get them to you as soon as we can, because we really love producing the content for you guys. For those of you who are Kickstarter backers, we will be posting an update soon, but as shooting was not planned until January 2024, we still anticipate that the project will go ahead as expected.

In the meantime, we’re using this gap in the schedule as an opportunity to launch a brand new Patreon-exclusive series! The royal court of NRB has unanimously decided to start playing The King’s Dilemma, a LEGACY game! Players are cast as the court of advisors for the King of Ankist and tasked with debating and deciding on a series of crises while also conniving, backstabbing and strong-arming their fellow council members in order to slowly grow their own house’s power. The first episode will be available later this week, and will be Patreon Exclusive for a full month before making its way to the main channel. Every following episode will be exclusive to our backers - with campaigns generally running 14-15 sessions, that’s a lot of videos!

There’s plenty more coming up as we move into October too - we’ll be going full spook on the channel and bringing you five games to herald the Halloween season: Burke’s Gambit, Gloom, Horrified: American Monsters, Paranormal Detectives and Betrayal at Baldur’s Gate! Plus our usual Unboxed episode and uncut versions of our weekly Board Game Club episodes as normal. Plus we’ll gather some folks at the table to tackle another channel favourite - let us know what you want to see in the comments!
