Super secret special video! (Patreon)

This happened last night.

It's a monthly musical comedy night in London called 'The Distraction Club' where the UK's musical comedians gather for what more closely resembles a party that an audience happens to be watching than a gig. It's always immense fun, and we're always encouraged to try new things and collaborate with each other on stage. (Musical comedians are usually kept apart from each other at regular gigs, because who wants two musical comedians on one bill?)

During my sound check, it suddenly occurred to me that I had an amazing backing band at my disposal. (Mitch Benn on bass, Kirsty Newton on keys and Ivan Sheppard on drums). So, with one rehearsal, ever, we did this.

I'm so glad this happened!!

There'll be a proper high quality video of this soon on my channel, but in the meantime, enjoy this from an audience volunteer's phone.

Thanks so very very much to the superlatively talented and obliging band. Long live the Distraction Club!
