Hi, lovelies!

I want to say thank you so much for being 2,000 following my work on Patreon! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ’œ

This might turn into a weird post, but I've been wanting to write about this for a while, I just wasn't sure how to approach it. This is a good occasion to do it, I think. Also, my English is sometimes not perfect, but I'm gonna try. Please forgive me if it's all a bit chaotic. You don't have to read all this, but if you do: thank you.

Two years ago, I had to quit the job that was the source of my primary income because of a very toxic work culture and undescribable work conditions. I held on for as long as I could because I couldn't afford to lose my job, but at some point it became untenable and I had to leave. They also did everything to get me to quit because that way I wouldn't get any financial compensation. It was horrible, and I went through a tough time, financially and mentally, that lasted for too long. I'm a freelancer, and I was able to slowly find some work missions to do so that I could pay rent (barely). This is still my situation now, and it's hard. My field of work is slowly dying because of AI, and it's just a permanent struggle.

So, about 8 months ago, I used my free time to start a YouTube channel to share my creations with a new audience. I think a lot of new people following me here discovered me from YouTube, actually. I had no hope of making money out of it, but I had free time, and I didn't want to go further into depression, so I wanted to keep my mind occupied. My mindset was simple: if I ended up making money, well, that would have been a bonus and would have paid for groceries, you know. And if not, I would have spent my free time doing something that brings me a bit of joy.

My YouTube channel has a lovely, growing audience, and I'm so grateful. I can barely believe people watch my videos if I'm honest. I thank everyone who watches, comments, and helps by sharing and liking. I was fortunate enough to join the YouTube partner program after only two months, which allows my videos to be monetized, and I now earn a small amount of money each month. Although it's not in any way a substantial income, it's better than nothing! I'm thankful for what I have.

I love creating in The Sims 4. I love making it available for everyone. I know very well what it's like not to be able to support a creator you like financially, so I do not want to paywall my content. Creating videos and expanding my creativity with the stop-motion format has been a wonderful experience, and I hope I'm able to continue to do that.

If you can and want to support me financially, please know that I appreciate it so much. You have no idea. Growing as a content creator could help me spend more time creating and working on new projects, something I would love to do. If you can't support me financially, but would want to: don't worry. Thank you for being here. I'm so happy you enjoy my content! I will continue doing this for as long as I can.

That's it, I think. Thank you all.

Take care. ๐Ÿ’œ
