When the Ortiz sisters heard of the story of The Blue Orchid, they immediately fell in love with the house. At the time, the building was crumbling and needed a lot of work and attention. Both of them were determined to give the house of the poetess Orchid Ellis a second life and to honor her memory. And they’ve been working on it ever since. As Rosa recovers from her recent divorce, she can count on her sister Myla to help out with the kids and be there for her, each step of the way.
