another piece of candy: timber's self-preservation arc (Patreon)

rough versions!!! but!!! daily updates are coming next monday...

if you haven't kept up with another piece of candy, nil is currently erasing everyone from existence. last time she erased all cats, so twigs lost their scar, which made timber (who has talked to nil about this before) catch on to what's happening...

i've been a little inconsistent about sharing apoc here, so i'm sorry about that! i keep feeling torn on whether to share completed comics or the rough versions, but then i often don't finish anything until the last second before it goes up... but i didn't have anything else substantial to post this week so i'm sharing these aaaand writing a little about where the plot is going!!!

spoilers below

twigs' birthday is on the 30th! which is a wednesday! so i will get to draw a comic for it!

after that i got another guest comic submission to post on oct 7th, but then the rest of october i wanted to do a popularity contest event... i don't know how i'll set it up yet, probably through google form again for simplicity's sake... it feels silly to start an event after some characters started disappearing but you can still vote for the ones that are gone.

but after that... THE PLOT CONTINUES... nil will keep casually erasing folks while timber tries to mitigate damage... the next victims will be the entire netherworld, so i will try to draw some last good comics about the demon crew before then... this will have a massive effect on eleni, which i'm very excited for.

i don't have all the comics scripted in advance, but i have a lot of beats to hit so i ASSUME it will keep going for another year or so. and i won't spoil the ending, though i'm pretty sure i saw a comment somewhere where someone completely called it haha. it'll be fun to get there and wrap a little bow on the series... and then i'll have space to do something new in its place! yahoo!!!

end of spoilers!!!

something i have been thinking about is redoing the archive for all the old comics, since i used to distribute them in batches here but have not done that for a long time... i'm not sure i ever shared the full res versions, partly because i never exported them from the working files. but. i have a website nowadays. so i would like to upload everything to my site... it's on my todo list along with a thousand other things--since there's over 500 comics now it would be insane to code an archive you can click through by hand but i will at least upload the images and make some zips and... UGH I SHOULD FINISH THE PDFS......! maybe that's what i'll work on tonight...

i've been bouncing between projects a lot this past week, mostly drawing TCS and apoc, but also coloring some of the art from WWT! been having trouble focusing on anything, but hopefully i will be able to lock on to something again by next week! see u then~
