syrup and the ultimate sweet was released on halloween of 2015! which makes tomorrow its 5 year anniversary!!

to celebrate, i'm releasing the work i've done so far on its direct sequel...

SYRUP 2: CANDY ALCHEMY RPG!

since this is a demo release and not the full game, i won't be charging anyone at this time. there are still some unfinished assets, but there's 2-3 hours of story content that's all pretty much finished, so it should be pretty close to how the final game will turn out! there's more info on the game page if you're unsure about playing it (since it's an early release and all.. i understand wanting to wait for the full thing!)

you can download the game through itch.io:https://nomnomnami.itch.io/syrup-2-candy-alchemy-rpg-demo/patreon-access

(you'll need an account if you don't already have one!)

this release is for patrons only, so i have to ask people to keep it a bit under wraps! by that i mean, please don't stream it or post a bunch of screenshots publicly. i want most of it to remain a surprise until i can finish the rest of the game...!

thanks as always for your support! and happy anniversary, syrup!!!

Still playing through the demo right now but I really felt inclined to say that I'm LOVING the roughs for the extra poses right now. They've all been very expressive and cute, really can't wait to see all the finished art, the quality of the stuff in the game is absolutely top, Nami. One note is that it is REALLY easy to cheese combat by using ren'pys rewind? I'm not sure if this is intentional or even something that could be helped, but I felt like it was worth bringing up. Not sure if the rewind feature can even be disabled honestly, I've never used ren'py.

Ah yes, I loved this demo. Thank you for making this.

I'm super excited for this! I usually forget about patreon and this is one of the first times I've been hyped for a supporter reward

This is so great! And the fact that you were able to do all this with RenPy fills me with hope for my own game!

This game is absurdly intricate for the engine it's held in. Loving how it's looking, can't wait for the full release.
