Preliminary sketch (Patreon)

Did some Photoshop planning for this guy.

If you have an idea and want to visualize it before working on it, it's useful to make a composition and colour sketch.

You don't need to have Photoshop for this, you can just use paper and colours or even a smartphone App(I sometimes use Infinite Painter, I'll put the link down below).
