QUESTION TIME!

1. Ashley’s confrontation with James didn’t go as planned. Do you think she underestimated him, or has James truly changed beyond recognition?

2. The clones are subtly influencing the Matthews and Diaz families. How do you think their presence will impact the families in the long run?

3. The twins’ profiling exercise with their grandma taught them valuable lessons. How do you think this skill will influence their future in the family dynamic?

4. Amelia mentioned not wanting Connor to be involved with the organization anymore but after the ending, that may be difficult. Why do you think Amelia feels this way? What do you think Connor will do?

5. Bianca got into Steph’s clones head about Nevaeh which led to that sad ending. Do you think N1’s feelings could mess things up for James’ plan?

Can't wait to read your responses! Enjoy!

Much love,

Jamie

When I said this episode was mind-blowing, I really mean mind-blowing: 1. First off, when Ashley and James were teenagers, Ashley basically used him as a cover-up after getting pregnant by an older guy. She was playing with his feelings while James was clearly in love with her. And let’s not forget that when she lost her memory, she kissed him, which led to that whole mess with Sebastian and James. That moment shaped James into the person he is today. I like how James cut through all the BS and was upfront with Ashley about how he really felt. But when he made that comment about Amelia, I was like, damn James. 2. I can totally see Bianca’s clone causing a rift between the real Bianca and Vince. When Bianca’s clone starts sensing that Vince is hiding something, she’s going to report it to James, who’ll then tell the real Bianca that her soon-to-be husband is keeping secrets. As for N1, I think he’s going to get caught up in something that creates a conflict with Sebastian. 3. I love how the grandma is secretly training the twins. If the switch happens between the real Stephano and N1, they’re going to be able to tell that something is off, which will mess up James’s plan. 4. Amelia’s feelings make sense to me—she’s trying to protect her family. She already knows Sebastian is going through a lot, and she doesn’t want Conner to end up in that same position. But since the guy reported to Conner about his attack, he’s probably going to want to help Sebastian out, even if Amelia doesn’t want him involved. 5.Like I said before, from the moment N1 met Neveah, it was clear he was going to fall for her. Even if he told Bianca that falling for her wasn’t part of his mission, seeing Elias and Neveah together made him jealous. And when he was responsible for hurting Rocket, he felt guilty. I think Bianca’s comment about N1 not having experienced love like the real Stephano had for Neveah is spot-on. That’s going to stir up some serious drama between Neveah, Elias, Tatianna, and Stephano.

I think Ashley underestimated him for sure. I think she thought it would be a easy conversation and she’d get all the answers, but he clearly has a huge wall set up. I think the clones will keep making little mistakes, which will bring a subtle attention to them, like with Bianca calling Nathaniel Nate, but I think those are too small for them to really question. What’s going on? I also think that since Bianca and N1 are robots, and they have that system where they can detect emotions and lies within humans, I think that will uncover some truths and make them pursue those emotions or curiosities like Bianca, knowing that he was lying and finding out why. I think the twins will be able to not quickly make assumptions like now when they see N1, if he shows up again and watch/ pay more attention to him. Same thing with Bianca if they are around each other. Since they live with Steph, they can hopefully put two and two together and know that the real Steph truly didn’t tell on Sebastian because they know that’s not how he acts. He wouldn’t want to tear up the family I think Amelia is scared and rightfully so. There’s a lot that goes onto the organization and I think Connor is going to absolutely understand the significance of what that boy told him and do his due diligence to figure it out. I hope he can put two and two together and know that it wasn’t the real Steph I think it could possibly mess things up for N1 because now he’s starting to have feelings which when a robot has feelings, they become real. A robot with feelings is a deadly thing. Take the game Detroit become human, for example. If he’s not doing his mission, which is what James told him to do and now he’s having emotions, that can cause a huge blowup in the end. And hopefully on James side

Hey Jamie, my biggest problem with Grandma Diaz training the twins is that it's almost like she is enacting the plan that Julio and founding four had turn the kids into new generation of assassins, something Sebastion did not want at all!

Samari James

1. James was out of line bringing his daughter into the conversation just to twist things and make it seem like Nevaeh would say something like that was beyond wrong. I really hope Ashley doesn’t fall for any of his lies. And that remark about Amelia? Completely unnecessary. James has taken on this unpredictable, “cross the line and face the consequences” kind of energy, which is honestly unsettling because there’s no telling what he’ll do next. I feel for Ashley she was so shocked she couldn’t even react. 2. Clone Stephano has already fallen for Nevaeh, which is bound to backfire. It’s almost like Detroit: Become Human, where the robots start developing real emotions that’s exactly what’s happening with the clones. At some point, the clone will be forced to do something it doesn’t want to because of its guilt or newfound human feelings. This will ultimately ruin James’ plan, as the clone’s emotions take over, making it unwilling to harm Nevaeh or anything connected to her. 3. I have a feeling the twins will play a key role in helping Sebastian figure out who’s up to no good especially when it comes to the clones. They’ll probably start noticing the subtle changes and differences in behavior, and when the time comes, they’ll be the ones who can tell apart the real people from the clones. 4. I think Amelia already has a good sense of what’s coming, especially if Connor joins the organization. She might hope it’ll change him, but deep down, she probably knows it won’t. Now that Connor has to talk to Sebastian about what he found out working for the police department, things are definitely getting complicated. I kinda feel bad for Sebastian he’s probably sick of all the drama and can’t even speak up about it. James is really setting him up for something big. 5. Bianca really knows how to manipulate people and get the information she wants. She managed to get clone Stephano to admit how he felt, making him say that falling in love with Nevaeh wasn’t part of the mission. Bianca knew exactly what to say to get into his head, and it worked. Cloned Stephano realized she was right, making him question everything and start longing to be the real Stephano. I gotta say, I love Bianca for that move. After Bianca gets into his head, clone Stephano will no longer want to be a tool for James. He’ll start realizing that he’s more than just a weapon or a pawn in James’ game, and that might make him want to break free from the control and make his own decisions especially when it comes to Nevaeh and what he truly feels. Why did they have to do Rocket like that? 😭 The dog had been part of the family since Stephano and Nevaeh were toddlers. Now, I can see Nevaeh either blaming Stephano for what happened or blaming herself for not paying enough attention to him. She had to witness it all firsthand, and I really feel that in my heart. I remember when my aunt’s dog was run over I was in the car when it happened. All I heard was the dog going into the road, and then I saw what Nevaeh saw: the dog on the road. I couldn’t hold back my tears because witnessing that was so painful. 😣

All I need to know is if James is going to do anything or is he going to continue with the vague cryptic bs? I truly believe James is the one person who deserves a villain arc. James used to be the first person to advocate nonviolence. It’s the whole reason why he didn’t want Conner in the organization. But both Conner and Bianca saw him as weak and ignored his warnings. What ended up happening? Connor was nearly killed by Christen, Bianca was sent to jail for murder. Had they just listened to James none of that would have happened. And it’s beyond effed up for Conner to regard Sebastian as a father figure when his own father was simply trying to protect him. So you know what, all of them can feel this burn. James has had enough with these people’’s hypocrisy.

Lianna Turner Christopher

Hello Redkitty120, Yes, Yes, YES this right here! James totally deserves a villain arc. To see where he started way back in season one to where he is now is breathtaking and kind of painful to watch. Cause James made the decision not to be like Christian after he found out Bianca was pregnant. Dude completely changed himself to become a better person, husband, and father, only to have the ones closest to him take advantage, call him weak, and dismiss him. I love me some Connor but the way he has treated his own father recently has been awful. Dude literally jumped out of a window to avoid talking to James, that was so disrespectful and once again sad because while Bianca was in jail they seemed to a better relationship. When Bianca got out of jail Connor once again took on the same attitude towards James that Bianca has. I think there was hope for James to turn back while Nevaeh was sick but that didn't work out. So, yep everyone needs to feel James's wrath. I would be surprised if James purposely sent N1 to find old dude when he did on purpose, so that Connor would be the one who took his deposition. James wants to wreck Connor and Amelia's relationship, and this would be the fastest way to do it. I do find it interesting that James rarely mentions Connor in regard to family just Bianca and Nevaeh.............hmmmmmm!

Lianna Turner Christopher

Hello Samari, I wouldn't be surprised if James has kill switches built into the clones, that way he can shut them down if they get too far out of his control. Yes, Bianca was clever and manipulative with the clone, however, that cleverness and manipulation had consequences. Her pushing clone Stephano is not the best idea, then yet Bianca only cares about what she wants and not about how actions could affect others.

Whewwww! Keep it coming. I’m upset with James but I get it. You continue to undermine someone and they will show you better than they can tell you.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Great episode as usual you guys❤️❤️ 1 I think it’s both, James has obviously changed beyond recognition, but since Ashley is married to Sebastian he has definitely had some impact on how she views things. When you are around someone for so long, especially if you love them you pick up there quirks, personality traits, habits etc and vice versa. Because of this I believe it’s made Ashley more observant and yes, she’s a little confused at the moment but I think she’ll be able to figure something out about James‘s behavior whether it’s on the nose or somewhere close to it. 2 and 5 First of all, Bianca was so smart in speaking to N1 the way that she did. She got into his head, I believe as he makes his way into the Matthew’s and Diaz’s life. He, and eventually Bianca’s clone, will start to feel things that they weren’t programmed to feel. N1 will eventually confide in the real Bianca, Asking questions and trying to understand the human experience. With that I think he will start to enjoy being in a family and eventually rebel against James‘s plan and convince Bianca‘s clone to do the same. 4 Amelia‘s feelings about the organization are extremely valid. She’s seen what this line of work has done to her family and she doesn’t want that for Connor and their relationship especially because it’s new. Connor was training to become a part of the organization, I believe he knows when he hears something they’re involved with. That being said Connor is going to pull Sebastian aside at some point, explain what happened and confront him. The organization is always something Connor has been interested in so once he has the conversation with Sebastian, I believe he will offer to help him uncover the truth and keep it from Amelia no matter how much it pains him.

Damn, so much I wanna say and the questions I have for this episode! I gotta find time to sit down and flesh it out.

roamerwanderer

I want to touch on Amelia briefly:

Hmm… Where were Mark, April, Mogan, and Clark? They were nowhere to be found. I consider Amelia to be a Park-Diaz through and through. I will not and cannot hide my bias. Yet —— I can’t help wondering where her Wallis side was. For the food truck reveal, NONE of them came out to support her?! This is a young woman who has/is battled depression, addiction, an abortion, went to therapy and rehab and is doing better mentally and emotionally, though still has her challenges. This was a pivotal accomplishment for her. Even grandma Diaz showed up and showed out to celebrate her venture and how far she’s come. I was surprised about that! I am curious about this development. I always imagined that as she got older her Wallis and Diaz sides would naturally not interact as much because she’s no longer a child or teen; she’s an adult. The Wallis’ or even just Mark, not showing up to at least the food truck reveal leaves me scratching my head. Wondering what the back story is - if any.

I adore the instances when Amelia calls papa Seb “dad”. It is few and far between. It just warms my heart after everything the characters have been through over the years. The scene of Seb sneezing near the food in the food truck, I was like, Amelia tell your daddy to get out the truck. Don’t go contaminating these peoples food now.

Lianna Turner Christopher

RW, I too wondered where the Wallis's were. It was weird not to see them there to support Amelia. I also thought Jayde and Josh would show up or at least be at the dinner afterwards. It was really odd! I also wonder if Mark is jealous of all the time that Seb gets with Amelia and how his more present for those key moments in Amelia's life. It always seems like Mark is an after thought

Is James willing to die for his cause? We know he’s willing to sacrifice other people. If it comes down to it, is he willing to sacrifice himself? When I think of Julio, Christian, Ray, Kim, Sebastien, Bianca, maybe even Connor - these are all characters willing to die for the cause - whatever cause that may be. They know that death is always a possibility. Is James? Ray’s crippled self was still big and bad. Telling Alfred, kill me then, which he promptly did, lol. My point being they don’t wanna die but they’re willing to face it head on knowing that it can very well happen. With James I’m not so sure he has that mentality.
