This month’s reward is going to be a bts story on Nevaeh and her struggles without her mom in the picture. A lot changed when Bianca went away and we thought it’d be a good idea to show you how these changes have affected Nevaeh and amplified her relationship with Stephano.

Throughout the puberty series so far, Nevaeh has seemed to be handling things pretty well. But in this story we see that things aren't what they seem. What do you think about Nevaeh's current state of mind? Is she right to place so much pressure on her relationship?

I don’t think it’s good for Nevaeh to place so much of her happiness on her relationship with Stephano. 1) people will always fail you. It’s in our nature we can’t be perfect and we can’t be the perfect rock for someone to lean on. 2) Stephano is just a guy. Sure he’s a guy she’s known for a long time and has been through a lot with, but in the end it’s too much pressure to be the one to hold someone up. Stephano has trauma and other hardships too and he can’t be the only one Nevaeh goes too for happiness and help. (Not counting therapy and her brother/ parents)

I think Nevaeh needs some time with herself and to be enough for herself and not put so much pressure on her relationship. I've been on both sides of the relationship where there's pressure because of mental health issues and it doesn't end well. I want Stephano to be able to tell her that he wants to figure out who he is, but I want Nevaeh to take it well when I know she won't. I feel like she'll try but being off of her meds and then Stephano coming in with that when she has made him her whole world it's going to be messy

Nevaeh should continue therapy and her medication. Mental health has become the main focus for people today especially of color. And we get shamed for it and ignored when help is needed. Stephano and Nevaeh are still young and need that much pressure on the relationship. They are still finding who they are as people.

Poor Vaeh 😭 I understand where she’s coming from, depression is a nasty dark place to be in, wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. In terms of Stephano, it’s not healthy for him to be thinking about her 24/7, because he needs to upkeep his own well-being otherwise he isn’t going to be any use to her in terms of support anyway. A break from their relationship would do them both some good because that doesn’t mean they can’t be friends or that they have to break up forever, just some time and space from each other romantically to figure themselves out, they’re still really young… I got really scared at the end, definitely thought she was going to take her life or something, phew😭🙏🏾 Sidenote: Ashley looks GOOODDD🥺😍

This is what I think should happen, I think Nevaeh and Stephano should loose there V-Cards and start having sex, Nevaeh will use sex and drugs to cope and won't take her meds. Stephano finds out Nevaeh has been with other guys and using drugs, he will threatened to leave her, and Nevaeh will overdose leaving her to get send to a 4-6 month rehab if she survives it. Side note: I love Nevaeh's character but I feel like if she did die so young it would change everyone's character, and by this I mean Stephano would go into a mental crisis wondering if he could safe her, her dad would never forgive himself and her brother would get back into crime to cope with his angry and loss of his sister. I feel like this would make the new season have so much good story telling and you girls have never done something like this, and I feel like it is the perfect time to to a storyline like this because everyone is getting older Amelia exist in Kade's story so it's the perfect time for something new.

I think Nevaeh and Stephano would both benefit from a break. Neveah would focus on her mental health and learn how to rely on others besides Stephano. You never know what others are going through, maybe her friends can relate in some regard, or James can just be an ear to listen. Stephano could focus on himself, learn how to put himself first sometimes, and be able to think about other things besides Neveah, It is going to be tough for him to space himself from Neveah, especially if he finds out she's sad again and having health issues. I hope for both their sakes, they can grow how they need in and out of the relationship.

Great episode!!! 💖💖💖 I appreciate you guys bringing light to an important issue, and doing it justice. I can totally relate to Neveah's struggle with depression, and I love being able to see a character, oddly enough, that I can relate to, even though it is a Sim😂

I also loved the conversation between Ashley and Stephano...I missed their relationship 🥰

nevaeh should just stick with the plan her and her therapist have for sure. it’s great steph makes her happy, but she’s putting too much dependency and pressure on him to where he can’t even live or think comfortably. she can’t just stop her meds or assume she’s better because she’s clearly still not in a clear state of mind. if steph wasn’t there, she basically said herself that she wouldn’t be happy — especially since he’s the only one that knows her situation besides her family. i just want her to focus on getting better and managing her depression so it doesn’t debilitate her life and thoughts as much or as harsh as it seems to

I personally think that Nevaeh is putting too much pressure on Steph and it isn't right. I think she also needs to stop putting so much stress on the idea that she can be "a normal teen who doesn't need meds to be happy." Honestly speaking I've been in Nevaeh's shoes before and have even said that exact line to my own therapist however it was a lie. After I strayed from both therapy and meds I spiraled and it took so much longer for me to get out of that hole and in the end I was worse than when I started. It wasn’t until I stopped reprimanding myself for being sad that I got better. It's not your fault you're sad nor is it your responsability to be happy. Added to that happiness itself is meanless without sadness all the hardships and pain is what allows us to understand and perceive happiness. However, like any other emotion happiness can only come and go because we allow ourselves to experience it. Let yourself be sad. It's okay sitting there and destroying yourself over it isn’t going to help. Neither will putting everything on to one person. That in itself will weaken the relationship till you're both tired and ultimately ruin it because there’s a lot of take and not enough give. The proof of that is in the way Nevaeh and Steph argued about him hanging with the new girl. Nevaeh's own extreme fear of losing someone else important. That fight also shows how Steph is already in the “give her what she wants” mindset. Yes he defended his inoccence but there was no acknowledgement to the fact that Steph shouldn’t have to report what he's doing/with to her in the same way she should have to report to him. On top of that her own fear is interfering with her trust for him as Steph has never given her a reason not to trust him. In a way I think Nevaeh has almost replaced her mother with Steph. For example, all that love, affection, and time she would have had with her mother are now placed on him so it’s almost like working overtime for her. Which in return isn’t leaving enough space/time for his own feelings, wants, and needs. I really hope that Nevaeh starts listening to her therapist and reaches out to more people instead of just Steph. At this point (I hope not) if anything were to happen or she did something to herself. There’s no doubt that Steph would blame himself for it. When it’s not. Also sorry for the freaking essay I’m just really into this story line like it’s hitting close to home for me.
