I've been so busy - finally got a chance to properly watch! Deon's dad had me dying! "Deon, are you OK? Is your brain working half the time?" His dad must be Nigerian, West African, or Caribbean descent. That part hit a little too close to home. LMAO! Such a great episode. So many thoughts. It was so cute seeing the bestie, Christy, dancing with Milo in the studio. And I like how she and Marcus interact comfortably since they are large parts of Makayla's life, therefore around each other a bit. It was so funny to me seeing Elijah sitting at the card table next to Marcus. I was thinking does this man have the money to actually join in and play, much less lose? Marcus having no idea who he is even though he's Mak's besties man told me that they they all don't really hang out as couples. I thought what Marcus did was super foul. I love his character, but this action that he did, using Mak as a pawn to get at Deon, disgusted me - kinda... Sometimes you do need to something like that to drive a point across. A part of me LOVES that Marcus drew a clear unambiguous line -- DO NOT FUCK WITH MINES. I didn't see it coming. Initially I thought a random was going to catch a photo of them and post it. I get why he did it, but I do not agree with or condone what he did. Marcus publicly going ring shopping was more than enough. That was a great "move" for something he does plan on doing eventually. It's not just sneakiness. We got a glimpse into how calculating Marcus can truly be. Deon's father mentioned Marcus' wealth, we can see how calculating he must be in business as well. It's a skill he's able to hide very well. I'm a whole contradiction - I know, lol. Makayla definitely needs to know who Marcus is when he's angry. How he handles anger. That is undoubtedly important. I agree with her. He could handle anger in a way that she is not familiar with. It's not just raging outbursts. I don't like the boyfriend, Elijah, for Christy. He's a double agent. He reminds me of those men that are just like - "Baby, open up. Let me in. You need to share with me, etc." Knowing full well they're keeping their cards behind their back. I'm not a fan of Ryan's friends. BUT - they were on the money this one time. They gave her the best advice to just go and use it as an opportunity. I'm glad Ryan did. She should use Deon for the access he can provide. Deon got what he deserved. Don't post up on someone thinking they won't defend themselves and lay your ass flat on the ground.

1. I sure do, it's like Makayla said, since Deon decided to take his feelings for Makayla public, Marcus felt that he had to go public back, make sure people know and make a statement. It's childish and was much less about showing his love for Makayla and more about telling Deon to step off from what's his. I do appreciate that he acknowledged needing to open up and a true test of his love for her will be him actually doing that. Fuck the games Marcus! 2. Absolutely, if they're going to be each others forever and get married then she needs to be able to see, love and accept every part of him, the good, the bad, the ugly. It's obvious from watching him this episode that Marcus is a very calculated individual that chooses to get even instead of angry, but Makayla deserves to see it all. 3. I ain't sure about Elijah. It's like I wanna hate him because he's undercover, but at the same he doesn't give me bad vibes even though we know what we know. I can't determine if it's all still apart of the job or if he's starting to gain real feelings for her. Kinda doesn't change anything but does. LOL where's my red flag. 4. No and I say this because even though they may have been right about them using each other to get over exes and him using her as a trophy for the night, it doesn't make her using him back right! I feel like they were encouraging her to be just as shady and that's fucked up. What's the saying, 2 wrongs don't make a right! Ryan said it best, he embarrassed her and I feel like that's kinda shameful for her because people are gonna talk about that, how he declared feelings for his ex and she still on Deon's arm like it ain't happen (despite us knowing she went with a different purpose). Even though I don't think she is, it gives off a desperate look if that makes sense. 5.Honestly, nah man. Like I wanted Deon to back up off Makayla and Marcus and let them be happy, but I dunno Marcus got me concerned. It's the way this man calmly tricked Deon into catching him and Makayla and then had the nerve to gloat about that shit. If we're being honest, Marcus has taken it a little too far. And the way he asked Makayla if that was angry enough for her? Uhm ma'am.....sir.......HUH

it breaks my heart to see Deon like this. He use to be a fighter for love and happiness now he’s doing alcohol and getting into fights with Marcus. #TEAMDEON something never sit right about Marcus and this wasn’t surprising to me.

I'm late but I do think Deon deserves it. He was too messy and needed to be more open. I think Elijah does like Ryan but he needs to be honest or it'll blow up in his face. Ryan shouldn't have taken her friends advice. Don't associate with people who will use you or vice versa.
