Maar and Teel commissioned Charlie's services to transport their (and several others') eggs for fertilizing and incubation. Sexual dimorphism in their species is limited only to who produces eggs vs who produces seed, with no external indicators perceptible to anyone outside their species. Unfortunately a plague generations ago severely impacted the seed carrying half of their species and they are now a significant minority, limiting access to them. In the years since egg makers have started 'pooling' their eggs in a single representative that they then send to a seed giver for fertilization. Charlie is a particularly popular provider of this service.
