City of Stars - Episode 9

Amy Donnelly

I had a love/hate feeling about this episode..........I loved it because it was well written and well acted, but hated it because of just how realistic it was. It seriously annoys me when fans think they can dictate the private lives of celebrities and feel entitled to knowing every last detail about them. I know I am in the vast minority, but I am of the opinion that if you like a celebrity, then you like their work and you leave their private lives alone, as it's none of your business. All the stuff in the episode about Fueang being backed into the corner by the press and made not not only say if he liked Men or Women but also have people talk about that actress he is currently staring with 'cheesecake' (I think her name is).....and how the fans and the actress like them together. Well they might, but Fueang isn't interested so that should be the end of that topic, but people keep bringing it up and making him out to be the bad guy when he says no. That kind of thing makes my blood boil. The whole idea of those girls in Krom's shop, talking about his parents as well.......those girls don't know Krom from a hole in the wall, and somone needs to tell them they don't know Fueang either, they just know his public persona, not the man behind it. So they seriously need to shut up and keep their opinions to themselves. Some people seriously can't tell fantasy from reality, and even though this was just a TV episode, it really showed this problem well.

Loving the communication between the Fueang and Krom, and F's maturity - he is always taking the high road and comforting everyone around him. However, I have to call out that manager as a complete failure at their job. As soon as the press conference started to go south it should have been shut down but they just stood there as the questions became more and more problematic. That could have been avoided.
