I think senpai said yes to a time off because he wants to protect Hiro from his toxic family. The problem is, breaking up is Hiro’s fear. It’s all or nothing with him. That’s why he keeps dragging his feet because he feels unsure if it will be a stable relationship or not. All these sassy Bs aren’t helping him feel secure. Hopefully he stands his ground and just fights for the relationship instead of running away.

I was proud of Hiro for speaking up to Sugimoto in the office and yes it was a little disappointing he couldn't answer the sister; however I also feel it isn't right to just say it to the sister when he hasn't been able to even just fully commit yet. Hopefully they'll patch things up quickly in the finale. I did find it ironic that the one time Hiro clumsily tried to actually talk about an issue was the moment Senpai backed away from it even if it was out of a sense of protection.
