Yes these two episodes were tough. I really like Taichi's energy and I love Kohei's voice, it's like listening to the sound of rain from inside your house. Yes I understand Taichi's reluctance but he's gotta remember that Kohei needs him to be as transparent as possible as he already feels like he misses out on a lot due to his hearing and also with these burgeoning feelings coming upon him, it's probably very confusing 😕. Ready for next two episodes.

They are doing a beautiful job of depicting the struggles these two are coping with… but yeah, episode three’s happy tears (Kohei secretly making Taichi’s lunch — a touching sequence) turns to episode four’s sudden isolation and sad tears as Taichi simply doesn’t understand how important he is to Kohei. It comes from Taichi’s self-effacement, a product of him not believing people would or could feel strongly about him — if he doesn’t hold much worth for his patents, then why would others value him? It’s a tough stretch of the manga. I’m glad we have a hint of increasing honesty from Kohei coming up… but more trouble lies ahead too!
