I'm glad that Maya was not the reason that Taichi is considering dropping out. I didn't need that level of drama. I hope Taichi stays in school. Maybe he could quit the restaurant and work part time at the sign language company.

Ahh Maya 😕 😞 she annoys me. Not everyone knows what they want to do right away, some people are grown and work jobs and still trying 🙄to figure themselves out Maya. I love Taichi's idealism, I am a lot like that but much more introverted and less courageous about charging forward on things that I think about so like Kohei said " Taichi is amazing "

Interesting episode. Taichi stumbling into Sai, the sign language company boss, was less coincidental in the manga IIRC. Anyway, interesting to have Kohei recollect worrying about others finding out how great Taichi is… and then have Taichi discovered and offered a job by Sai. Nicely put together by the screenwriters. What can I say about Maya that Josie and all of you haven’t already said? She’s quite the poisonous gas cloud, that one…
