Lies beget more lies. I would hope that Jiaobao calms down and remembers his promise with Huaien. If I were Jiaobao, I would agree to it and get explanations from Huaien in person and lol if you don't like what you hear poison him, of not tell him what's going on and maybe he'll help your family. It's not like you can trust the royal court either.

I feel for both Jin Bao and Huain … Huain has to obey his dad and he was trying to protect his lover. He couldn’t really tell his lover that he is trying to find the evidence that his parents committed fraud of some sort.
