When Willot Reacts

I am excited to see your reactions to the rest of the show, Tita!!! Yes, the series will end next week as they already released the penultimate as of writing this comment lol and ngl, this series surprised me in various ways that I didn't thought of, making me appreciate the series EVEN A WHOLE LOT MORE.

Yay glad you're back to reading to this. From what I understand, I believe the stepsister came on to him and he was trying to stop it but the parents probably blamed it all on him and so he was kicked out only to fall into a predators hands 😩. I hope he and Mao will work out the misunderstanding.

Glad you’re back on this, Josie, and just in time for us to binge it through to the end at two episodes a day moving forward! Woot! I rewatched episode 1 before watching this to get back into the *mood*… and I’m using that word to set this apart from the last Japanese anime series I watched, Cherry Magic, which hardly felt like it had a mood AT ALL. While this one isn’t exactly Your Name (with its big budget and 2 years of work to get it perfect), this one luckily has mood to spare anyway! It’s going to need it too, as now that I’ve seen the opening sequence again and have read through the first 4 volumes of this series (a fifth volume comes out on Tuesday in English!) it appears that characters from volume 4 are also in the opening sequence… so are we going to average only 3 episodes per volume? That will be a lot to get through! Cherry Magic anime’s greatest flaw was rushing through it at pretty much 1 episode per volume, so way worse, but less happened per volume in that story. To make up for potentially rushing through this one… well, thank goodness it has mood, feeling, and the yearning that it will need to make it all work. So far so good, really looking forward to the upcoming days watching with you Josie!!

Hisashi really has a rather tragic back story. He’s really lucky that Mao has empathy to spare, even if he has some insecurities to work through!

I am late to the party! Been traveling around Europe so my internet access was not the best, but I just started watching this series. I really love this first episode.

I remember now. I watched this with you. I love how the writers put so much information in a short film but keeping the intensity. I love both these young men already. Can’t wait for the development between the two.
