So… enemies or rivals to lovers is the oldest and most over-explored trope ever… but Giichi is such a hilarious character who both simply can’t help himself but also makes his case well, even when everyone else around is left to try to manage him… that I’ve been dying to see how they’d handle it in the anime, and they’re doing a great job! So I’m guessing that “take 7” will be Giichi and Jin, ahem, getting over the hump, and then 8 will bring everyone back together as we see the finished films of the second years and third years? Or maybe they’ll cram both into 7, since they’ll be past the halfway mark of the anime but not halfway through the TOOF manga volumes yet… This is flat out fun, and I’m glad you’re enjoying it so much Josie!
