Thank you to everyone for voting in the recent poll on your favorite episodes from last week! The results are:

1️⃣ Jack & Joker ep. 7

2️⃣ Love in the Big City eps. 1-8

3️⃣ Every You, Every Me ep. 3

4️⃣ Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo eps. 3-4

5️⃣ Bad Guy My Boss ep. 6

As for me, here were my top 5 episodes last week:

1️⃣ Love in the Big City eps. 1-8

-- Hands down, this series is one of the best LGBTQ+ series released not just this year, but of all time. It very accurately and very poignantly depicted the pains that many of us in the LGBTQ+ community go through, and the emotions I felt while watching this series still linger.

2️⃣ Jack & Joker ep. 7

-- The social commentary presented by this episode was timely and very needed. The fact that both Jack and Joker have been struggling not only with their feelings for each other, but with larger socio-economic issues that have shaped their lives and the decisions they've made was handled exceptionally well in this episode.

3️⃣ Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo eps. 3-4

-- This is absolutely one of the series I look forward to every week. DoHoi clearly felt betrayed that JuYoung developed a friendship with his abusive father, and the fact that it led to their estrangement was understandable but nonetheless jarring.

4️⃣ Every You, Every Me ep. 3

-- Top and Mick can act their pants off. 3 episodes so far, each episode with the 2 of them playing different characters, and they do so in a way that seems effortless. The fact that they're able to portray the difference in their characters not just with their hair or make-up but more importantly with their physicality is just astounding.

5️⃣ Pluto ep. 2

-- This series continues to bring out my inner lesbian every time I watch it. It will be interesting to see how Ai-oon will move forward in the series now that she has decided that she no longer wants to keep pretending to be her sister because she no longer wants to deceive May.

Thank you again for voting! 🥰

Enjoying your summaries Tita. Encouraging us to watch the actors acting their pants off, LOL. Love in the Big City was giving sophisticated indie film much more than mainstream BL vibes, for better and for worse. It is indisputably top notch, and I hope successful enough to encourage similarly ambitious work in the future, but it made me really sad. So let's also keep the comfort BLs coming.

Honestly, for me, after “Love in the Big City,” all the others pail in comparison. But, I’m not a big fluff (ie comfort?) BL viewer.

" Love In The Big City " is hand down the BEST series of the year....other series are way far behind of that masterpiece.
