Aww, poor baby🥺. No wonder he was scared to go to the hospital for his hearing (aid) test ! Idt he was intentionally ignoring TanYin, I think he just isn't used to hearing him so it didn't fully registered to him that TanYin was talking 🤷🏿‍♀️. It's call 'Jealousy'. He was Jealous!!

We already knew TanYin was traumatized when he asked in a previous episode if he was going to be left at the hospital. Poor sweet boy! There is a pretty dramatic contrast between the kindness of the teacher to TanYin and how harsh he is with some of his students. There is no need to humiliate someone for their drafting skills or sense of color.
