On the upside, Arashi can rock a blazer. He does color blocking as successfully as Payu did, although in a deeper, richer palette (somehow Payu could manage to look badass in pastels). On the downside, for me the shorter episodes and smaller budget lead to a less immersive experience. I think it would feel even more fragmented if we didn't already know the story and fill in the blanks on our own. Also, spoiler, I am pretty sure that Rei will soon become every bit as annoying as Rain. It's what Arashi is training him to do.

I’m gonna be straight up, I’m liking this adaptation more than the original, everything I remember from the original is shown in these eps and in a shorter amount of time, perfect, like some scenes in the original were just completely forgettable. unpopular opinion i feel will get me in the stocks lol

I am watching it but not getting the same feeling as with the original one. The original had a spark that I am not feeling with this one yet. It is good I like the actors. They are giving us the story, but as i have watched the original i can fill in the gaps. I feel the are going to miss some big chunks as it is 10 short episodes instead of 13 longer episodes🙂

It's hard not to compare, but I found that I enjoy the show a lot more if I treat it as its own thing rather than an adaptation or remake. Sometimes it works like with Cherry Magic and other times it doesn't like with My Love Mix-Up. So far I've mainly seen people not liking the series and this series is by no means perfect, but neither is the original to me. Both have their flaws and I think I'll just stay away from any online discourse and enjoy the show from my little corner

First time watching this, and it’s cute. The original version in Thai to me is my favorite. But so far, I’m enjoying this episode. Arashi is very handsome. I like the bad boy look in the original and this one. I like it so far. Can’t wait for the next episode.

Glad they moved that scene out of the bathroom, since men’s bathrooms always gross me out so I can’t enjoy the scene fully. I did feel more in the original, however, during the “romantic” scenes so far. It’s cute, no matter what, and I’m enjoying it for itself. Not as impressed with the race stuff in this one but whatever. I like the two actors so far. They haven’t given us enough of the other two for me to have an opinion on them yet.
