🥺🥺. Ms. Fiancée is being selfish if they had previously agreed to only be together until they found someone or slove their problems & he's willing to still help her; but she only cares about how it affects her! 😒 Unpopular opinion: that moment and the way he said it in the hospital was not ideal but he's not wrong. Based on what the mom said, baby boy has been putting on a bit of a facade about how he's dealing with his inability to hear. It seem hasn't fully accepted that there are somethings he just can't do no matter how capable he is in other aspects of his life. He needs the help & has to learn to rely on others sometimes. The little brat could have gone about all that in a better way though. Also I feel like that's brought up some unresolved feelings related how he felt when his friend was attacked earlier in the ep).

Fiance is on my nerves. She likes that ZiXiang told her the truth but goes behind his back to sabotage his relationship just so she can be free of her father.......selfish. Possibly unpopular opinion but I know she was attacked but she shouldn't have hit Shao Peng and yelled at him for not being able to hear her screams. Yes, it took him some time to find her but bottom line he did find and save her.

Aww, that was sad. I didn’t like his friend blaming him for not finding her fast enough. Her words left lasting trauma. It’s understandable that she wasn’t thinking straight in the moment though. It was hard to hear Z’s words to him too. He maybe could have said them in a calmer gentler way. He does need to accept the fact that it’s normal to not be able to do everything perfectly. He has his strengths and weaknesses. The fiancé is super self centered. She is willing to hurt everyone for her own desires. Z is being clueless about his fiancé and father. He lives in a dream bubble that is going to get popped.

What a mess. I understand them both though. This is way more drama than I was anticipating or hoping for, if I'm being honest. I'd even say that there's too much of a tonal clash now happening with how dark a turn the series has made. The editing and storytelling this episode early on was a bit confusing too, what even happened after Shaopeng rescued whats-her-name? An event like that should have affected their relationship in a way that we shouldn't just be finding out about it now out of nowhere. There should have been mention or tell of it in some way leading up to this in past episodes. But handling deaf representation and making Shaopeng a complex character was never going to be just light and fun, so I get it. Also, I tend to no longer like couples once physical violence has happened between them for any reason. And I know that Zixiang kissed Shaopeng without his consent (Shaopeng could have stopped him though), and I know how much anger and worry and self-struggle Shaopeng was dealing with in that moment at the hospital, but he shouldn't have punched Zixiang. I can't look at Shaopeng the same now. I just don't want to think that people that are meant to love each other could ever hurt each other like that. And Zixiang's love IS pure, he loves Shaopeng for his passion for helping others and for his drive in spite of his limitations. Shaopeng literally inspires him to be a better person. This episode made me very sad.

Shaopeng can’t help he’s deaf. Making him it’s all his fault broke my heart. Do you honestly believe he wished he couldn’t hear. I’m sorry she was assaulted but to yell at him cause he couldn’t hear her was beyond his control. I know he was upset at the time but to take it out on him and 6 years later he’s still carrying this guilt is too much for 1 person should carry. The fiancé is being selfish because it’s about her and controlling the situation. Between her and his he’s never going to be able to stand on his 2 feet and have his own life unless he stands up ! And Johnathan you were wrong for giving her the info to find Shao so you on my crap list.

Ok, this went left real fast for me. I was expecting an awkward courtship and comical courtship with the other pair. I hope this all gets resolved in 1 episode.

Shaopeng is an extraordinary and beautiful human with many talents which, by the way, is the reason that both people who read him the riot act for being deaf are also crushing on him. Get yourselves together! This man is not a therapy dog for your issues.
