I love how they are drawing the parallels between Thame's and Po's circumstances - with them being on opposite sides. But while Earn's motivations seemed to be purely self-aspirational as he left Po in the dust, I'm getting a definite feel that Thame's situation is not completely of his own making. I think his initial aggressiveness towards Po came from a feeling that his own life was out of his control. As you said, I'm sure we'll learn more about that as the story plays out. I see that Joong, Sea, Keen, Ashi and Aun are also listed in the credits as well, so I'm looking forward to see how they are involved in the story. All but Joong are credited with playing themselves (a possible tie-in to "Only Boo"?). I'm with you on Drake's hair, too. It kinda reminds me of Sea's hair on "The Trainee". Loving Sammy's and Ciize's characters, as well. They look like supportive female roles. Overall, I think this was a great first episode. It wasn't emotionally jolting, but it did a great job introducing the characters and their motivations. I'm definitely intrigued!! Great music, too, including the nod to "Last Twilight".

Lord, another Thai series that brings tears to my eyes. An excellent series. (BTW - a sasaeng is a Korean term for an obsessive fan who invades the privacy of their idol). I feel for Po and Thame. I can see why Thame and his teammates are hurting. They share the pain.

Is it phonetically "Tempo," as in the musical term? That would mean pronouncing "Thame" the way the Brits pronounce their river Thames as "Tems".

It's hard pass on Drake's wig but we still like Drake. I still haven't recovered from Drake and Ohm (? - anyway, p'Win's older brother in Between Us).

This was a very good start to ThamePo. I hope they keep this vibe. It's giving more of the pilot vibes than the official trailer & I love that. The pilot trailer left me feeling more excited ! Est & William are doing a good job thus far!

Ok, maybe it's culture. But why can't Po manage his emotions at work. He is walking around like an apolegetic puppy intead of a man where all the skills asked of him for this job are well under his experiences. That was so distracting to me.
