"it's not what you say, but how you say it", Johan. Even if Johan is exhausted and extremely stressed, he, too often, dominates and speaks to North as if he is North's parent, followed by North groveling to please and obey him. It's problematic that North, a grown azz man, has so little autonomy. Also, notice how North flinched when Johan reached to check his body temperature. So he expected to be hit? Hey, writers, don't gloss over a dynamic you suggested. Though framed as sweet and loving, Johan and North's relationship screams power imbalance. Just when I'm ready to root for their pairing, I'm taken aback by their "angry" parent and "dumb" child interactions. Despite his feelings for Johan, North could justifiably express that Johan must change his approach or the relationship will end.

It's adorable the way they wrote the characters of Johan and North. I'd accept either as a boyfriend. North is so innocent and cuddly.

Hopefully, the flinch does not represent North's uncertainty about a potential dysfunction within Johan. As we've seen in other BLs, I imagine the writers will never address North's noticeable reaction to Johan's sudden movement.
