I don't know if it's just that he's asexual or something else; Because Kazuaki is isn't romantic either. He obliviously care for Sei to some degree but sometimes he seems cold and distance.

I've read that a good portion of BL fans are upset by the characterization that Nakarai & Hagiwara may eventually cheat on their partners. Gimme a break. Sanitizing LGBTQ+ experiences in storytelling is myopic and counterproductive because it promotes internal fear, shame and illegitimacy. The interaction between these characters is complex and fascinating to me. I eagerly await the outcome. Just tell the truth. Reasonable people can handle it.

It is very interesting. I'm very interested in the situation with Hagiwara and his girlfriend because that is a tough situation to be in as he may feat bringing it up out if fear of outright rejection and/or doesn't want her to feel like he's pressuring her. I do agree they definitely need to talk about it before it festers even more.
