They just keep being drawn/pushed towards each other. What will be the consequences for their growing friendship after next week?!

Stacy Naus

I feel as if they are going into new territory and exploring asexually. I think the girlfriend is asexual and the friend is Aroace. With the girlfriend she likes the romance but not sex, and with the friend it is all about the companionship. I don’t know if they are going to sneak any surprises on us that they are keeping secret about those two, but for now that seems like what they are portraying.

As much as l hate the fact that one is gonna cheat on his girlfriend, l find their story to be so realistic and potraying what actually happened out there with couples when they face challenges in their relationships. Instead of talking and finding a solution together ,they go find comfort outside and end up wasening the situaton as well as hurting other people. Am looking forward to see how they are actually going to deal with this situation.eventhough we know the two guys are gonna end up together anyway 🤣🤣🤣its a bl after all

Y'all, this dynamic of "should they or shouldn't they" has me utterly intrigued! In the right artistic context, I delight in a huge helping of moral ambiguity. Even if they end up cheating on their "roommates", I imagine the writer will frame their actions as understandable, not ethical. Similarly, the characters and their predicaments are quite fascinating. Nakarai has no filter and I, surprisingly, find him amusing. Hagiwara is far too passive, yet he is a charmingly kind, gentle spirit. Folks, I'm all in and fully prepared to get drenched by this series. Cue the deluge!

I appreciate this breakdown of the character personality profiles. I had a simpler response that the more passive roommates were just inconsiderately sending mixed signals or had lost interest but this analysis makes more sense.

The "girlfriend" is shutting down all communication about intimacy or the feelings of her partner so I am less judgmental about the cheating label. It's not ideal, but it's understandable. And we don't actually know the terms of their agreement.

Ok, I feel like I have met all these characters in real life. The girlfriend was my asexual husband who really didnt want a divorce or sex. After, the kids were born he felt that he was done with all that sex stuff. Since I am awesome he wanted the support and intellect of having me as a partner. I was so frustrated. So the ^ girlfriend^ is a selfish bitch to me. NAKA is single and has the idea that time will change this relationship. That person was like a co worker who couldnt get over a crush of me. Our co workers tried to embarrass him at work. I acknowledge his feelings made him my ^official crush^ told him to think whatever he like. It stopped the bullying. After a bit, he found a black girl that he liked. ARO doesnt want to be the bad guy and end the relationship. He is letting the girlfriend set the pace because of their sexual history. The type that accepts all the *crap* till they get so frustrated they blow up.

I had the same take about the asexual aspect. I think she found out after they were together that she did not like sexual intimacy. The problem is when she figured this out she should have approached him and had a conversation about how this will affect their relationship instead of just pulling away and making him feel he did something. She is being selfish.
