ThamePo - Episode 12

Not sure if I needed a redemption arc for Mick, or Jun continuing to make everyone's decisions for them, but honestly this show delivered another great episode. Loved Tita's roasting of Earn, that pond scum. And when Mars -1 showed up at the sandwich park, my parasocial relationship with Est x Lykn reached a new level.

As for Earn, what balls to expect Po would accept his token gifts all in exchange for being able to use Po's name. Far from a sincere apology for how he treated Po when they were together. As for Mick, they sure threw us a curve ball by letting us think he was a total sleaze. Ah well. We were fooled. As for Pemika, still the same. She needs to learn how to accept ideas from outside that pea brain in her skull. Nothing new goes in and the same bs comes out. Surprised ONER got that far. Now for the finale next week.

My apologies, getting irritated with Po. He is too stupid for directions. He keeps doing stupid stuff all the time. Hope he becomes an housewife and save us from his thinking. Po only showed a backbonewith Earn. That took yrs to come about.

"Things aren't always as they seem." Earn inadvertently taught Po to shed some of his naïveté about other's actual intentions. After reading Thame's letter, Po learned that some sacrifices are not worth it when they block your overall happiness. During his convo with Uncle Joei, Po realizes that achieving his dream means nothing in the wrong space, especially without the man he loves. Mick's positive arc makes sense because it is not unimaginable that he feigns his loyalty to Pemika to protect his job while secretly supporting MARS. These revelations gave the narrative the progressive shifts it needed. P.S. Sure, Jun. You saved a picture of Po's favorite food truck for Thame's sake. Clearly, he plans to die on that hill.
