Ossan's Love TH - Episode 10

In BLs, the martyr who forgoes his happiness because he believes his love interest will be better off, is a tired trope that needs to stop. It’s even worse when the martyr decides what's best for his love interest and then breaks up in a cruel manner: that act contradicts any love he ever expressed for the person. Mo’s insecurity as the rationale for his unloving treatment towards Heng is a lazy plot point, even in the cursed penultimate of the series. Creating drama for the sake of drama is bad storytelling. For me, Mo’s decision should be a deal breaker for any future romantic relationship because of the callous way he broke with Heng, especially when he masterminded the fake relationship between Heng and Chicha. When Heng begged to know why, Mo’s refusal to explain was unacceptable and unnecessarily hurtful. Without question, this series was not executed well enough for the creative team to expect its viewers to fully understand and empathize with Mo. Quite surprisingly, Heng has become the brave, loyal and sensible partner in his relationship with Mo. For this reason, he deserved much better. More importantly, Earth. Mix and we deserve better.

The character Heng is a out and out coward. He can not confront his mother with the truth of his relationship with Mo. I would have walked out on him as Mo did. I admit, I do feel this is a inane script and series.
