Because of Earth, Mix and creatives from my favorite BLs, I truly wanted to like this series. Somehow, the creative team wasted its vast resources with its inadequate narrative and imprecise characterizations. Kudos to Earth for not becoming a cartoon character. Despite efforts to characterize them as such, Mo and Kongdech were not heroic. Both were martyrs without a cause. Worse yet, portraying an older queer man as manipulative (even unintentionally) and pathetically delusional is a little galling. Even with his last minute decision to accept a truth he had known the entire time, his sacrificial role as wingman to the couple feels contrived, like exaggerated sentimentality. In deference to fans of this series, enjoying it is beyond me; but alas, taste is relative. Without fail, I will continue to support Earth and Mix and BL series, even when those series stumble—because they tell our stories.

Mix and Earth were good. As for their characters, ewww, (as Dylan said in "ThamePo about the idea of being shipped with Jun) wait until Mo takes Heng to bed and finds out Heng is a eunuch. No gonads at all. After recovering from his accident, he still goes along with marrying the boss. What a f**k up script.

Yeah but he didn't fully remember anything other than what the boss and mom told him. He was engaged to the boss and he thought he had to marry him. he didn't remember anything until the wedding part to say I do he remember everything after that and called it off. It not like he remembers anything yet
