My Golden Blood - Episode 9

Vincent

The writers play fast and loose with the logic of this narrative. Killing Kla merely for dramatic effect is almost as problematic as the stupid attempt to heal him while he is impaled. Cue the flimsy justifications from the writers. Even worse, Kla's death scene (and Neo's acting) was cheesy. What 20-something willingly embraces death like he has lived a long life of rich experiences, including nobly protecting Tong? How absurd, unless he is already a vampire. #ConvenientPlotDevice 😳 Mark and Tong's decision to hide in plain sight is ridiculous. They make it easy for Nakan/vampires to: find them; to set traps; and to control Tong's friends. A vampire of Mark's age and experience would know better. Blame the writers.

What was the reason for killing off Tonkla? Just for the dramatics or as motivation for Tong? Wasn't Tong motivated enough at Tonkla life being at risk?? Also: Shouldn't he have been taking of the rod if he was trying to heal him?
