"Time and experience will show us what we should do next" - caring helpful uncle who was kind of creepy to me til this episode. Some great fatherly wisdom from him, and he's a force for positive direction and of support for Sun and Mei that they've really needed. Not a lot to feel good about in this show, but this episode provided some nice feels. I'm not usually much into gl, but I also really like Mei and Cherry. I had to check the episode count, lol, because it was going a little too well, we can almost taste the happy ending a bit now with the gym and how tight the Bangkok Boys have become. If it could end around here, I could be relieved, because I feel more death coming. We're seeing now how less than almighty Joe is as well with him being held accountable by a more powerful gang or collective, so he will be defeatable, but at what further cost to our Bangkok Boys.

I too still find the cafe Uncle just a little suspect 😕. I keep thinking what if he's some kind of secret boss or perhaps apart of the lobbyists. I wonder why they didn't show us the lobbyists face. Perhaps potential season 2 stuff if there is one. Glad we got some happiness but the uneasiness is there looming.
