I kind of love how Hiro’s thoughts are very negative, fearful, and ill intended, but in the end he ends up offering Natsuo everything. He grumbles about the food Natsuo cooks, but he eats it and even asks for it. He agonizes about the possibility Natsuo will ask for something expensive, and ends up offering the watch and sushi restaurant. He freaks out about skinship, but ends up being very touchy feely with him in the end and even initiating the kiss he had just had a panic over ten seconds prior. He clearly likes this relationship, but hasn’t admitted it to himself yet.
