1️⃣ Kill to Love eps. 7-10

-- This series continues to impress, and it's the first time I've wished that a Chinese series had more episodes. My jaw was on the floor when they showed us why the series is titled "Kill to Love". In the aftermath, Zi Ang and Shu He both struggled to grapple with their feelings for each other while trying to lead their respective kingdoms.

2️⃣ Shine ep. 6

-- I was on the edge of my seat for most of the episode, and I was truly worried that we would see our first death in the series. For now, all the leads managed to survive the student protests, but the atmosphere is uneasy and murky. Lert and Naran are at ideological odds, and Victor unsuccessfully tried to get between Trin and Tanwa.

3️⃣ Khemjira ep. 5

-- Pharan accepted Chan as his disciple, however declined to accept Khem due to Khem's perceived "unpure" intentions. Khem's plea for Pharan's help in removing his curse is supposedly the reason why Pharan rejected him. I suspect that Pharan's increasing affection for Khem is also partly the reason.

4️⃣ The Promise of the Soul ep. 12

-- This was a beautiful, heartfelt end to the series. Xia Cha and Hai Yuan are living happily after, and Ri Qing and Ze Fang's goodbye was poignant yet hopeful. Even the lesbians are getting married, albeit offscreen.

5️⃣ I'm the Most Beautiful Count ep. 6

-- The truth of Worradej's suicide was revealed, and it was a twist I was not expecting. Prince accepted Banjong's apology, and it seems Banjong is going to try to pursue him again. Prince, now deified by the villagers for walking on fire, also hilariously helped Koson recruit soldiers.
