Just watched after having watched Ep 2 of the Thai remake (and I’m gonna keep going because I HAVE TO see your reaction to the big reveal Tita!) and what I’m seeing here, now that I’ve accepted the too-old-actors, is that even though Aoki is usually OTT in his gestures, that overall the show is not pitched just toward young audiences, but has the broader tone that I wish the Thai remake was taking on too.
