I’m now re-reading the manga, (and am ahead of episode 5) and am looking forward to how different the field trip will be, since in the manga they flew to Hokkaido to learn to ski… and a lot else happened there too, so I think I’ll plug onward to it before preparing for this week’s My Love Mix-Up. I’m always fascinated by adaptations, and they’ve stuck pretty close to the manga so far (there are small changes to be sure) but the non-ski trip will be a big one. Still waiting to be captivated by the guy playing Ida. It just hasn’t happened yet for me though. The actor playing Aoki is such a standout, and Hashimoto and Aida are very good… I’m just waiting to be convinced by Ida.
