For me, this was the first episode where the actor playing Ida got Ida from the manga right. Good !! Meanwhile, Aoki is the funniest character in this actor’s hands, who hits the silliness level perfectly. Enjoying this so much more than My Love Mix-Up Thailand!

Good morning, my take was that he does like Aoki. At least in the subs I saw that's what he said. I think better subs will be out Monday. I took it as "I like you but maybe it's too soon for dating" I think he realizes he's not great at communicating and in an effort to be sincere with Aoki he often jumps the gun. So I think they both like each other but want to take time before they date which is why Aoki is so happy cause at least the liking part is clear. But then the previews are confusing cause Ida is saying they are dating after saying they shouldn't LOL so I think something has been lost in translation.

I think he likes Aoki. It’s a given. But I think he wants to take his time. Get to kno him better before telling people they dating. But he does like him.

Ida did basically tell Aoki he likes him. I mean he phrased it like a question in a way but wasn't really asking. Like, "I think I do like you." And then he's saying it may be too early to really say that they're dating, but he thinks (and wants) them to definitely head in the direction of dating. So, like, not stop dating exactly, but just slow down.

Not sure if the translation that I saw was correct but in the translation that I found the conversation wasn't about dating but about being lovers. Which I mean is another step you date to figure out if that fluffy feeling is something or not. If like can turn to love. So what I got from Ida was I do like you. I'm not sure what kind of like but I would like to get to know you more and I hope its the romantic kind.

No one uses the word for "lovers," unfortunately. And they are talking about dating. They are using the word 付き合う, which means basically to date someone....he is saying he wants them to be together one day. You can take any implication from that you want, though, I guess.
