When I first saw this series, I was initially weeks behind, but caught up over New Years and was watching live with everyone else, finding out as it went along, and at this point totally committed to it, and as apprehensive about the finale as everyone else. It had been such a nice return to Uncle Tong’s, and such an important time for them to have together, so what a sobering ending with the return to “reality”. Even watching again over a year later, the feels are all still there.

rewatching it you can definitely see the coded language. The way Pat would looked at Pran when he got sad about home and family. Pat knew what was coming. This is what Pat does. Creates a world of childlike make believe to give Pran room to process and give him the time and closeness he is longing for. Pat would have truly run away but he knew Pran couldn't. I guess they don't see a way to be together and fight the families. So he created a bubble, a fairy tale, a "honeymoon" for them to hide in before the inevitable came. Just like the "flirt game" Pat already knew his fate. He always planned to lose to make his lover happy. OMG I am crying again LOL! This show :-(

Question, did I miss something along the way? In the start of the shows we have seen a snip it of Pran in the hospital with the oxygen tube in his nose. What was that about, or is it also something for the last episode? Also if the parents didn’t take the time to take and clear the air so to speak, shame on them!
