I really don't understand the hate this season has been given? Was I also hoping for a fluffy "Yay, we're finally together" lovey-dovey season? Yes. But I, for one apparently, actually like this better. In many ways I agree that it's very K-drama-ish, BUT for two people with such intense feelings for each other, yet with so different outlooks on life I find this so much more believable, and I personally love the writing. I can understand the anger from a purely "they broke up and other people are in the mix" point of view, but the way they've decided to handle that deserves soo much more praise. These two episodes explain so well (and believably) why things didn't work out, and I, for the life of me, can't understand how people don't see that. I litterally felt it to my core when Ji Woo admitted that Seo Joon never really did anything wrong, but he still felt so alone, because their lives are so different and he didn't get what he needed out of their relationship. And yet, as the last episode showed, his feelings are still so strong that he can't stay away. The whole title is to my STAR, so of course, it will deal with the (in my opinion very believable) struggle of dating someone in the public eye, and I just... feel like this season is getting a lot more hate than it deserves. I honestly might like this even more than the first season, because I feel like I'm even more understanding of their feelings, and it makes me truly understand the struggle of "love not always being enough".

At this point, i feel that seo joon should return to his life in Seoul and try to move on. You can’t force someone to get back together with you. Sometimes, it juz sucks, the person u want to be with doesn’t feel the same way, but that’s life. If Ji Woo was unhappy, he has every right to leave and maybe eventually find someone that will make him happy. However, he should not have left with a note, he should have explained it and done it face to face.
