While I am disappointed in the producers for marketing it as a BL, I do think it is more than a bromance. GeumSeong does seem to be genuinely in love with Hye Seung. It’s just that every time he confesses his love, HS puts up a wall and/or plays it off as a joke. This is usually followed up with GS looking disappointed but respecting HS’s boundaries. I think they left it open to the viewer to decide if HS returned either of their feelings, and that’s where the show faltered. If I weren’t expecting a BL, I would have probably loved it, but the disappointment is real.

Yeah I can see that. Also, for the ending when HS returned, it could also be kind of open-ended and interpreted as possibly GS & him getting together, but still. I'm feeling very dissatisfied at the moment. 👀😬
