The type of relationship or start of a relationship between Kim and Khamol reads better than it does play out in a show. There's a lot missing when you transition from a book to film. The tension emotion and atmosphere that is conveyed through words isn't always brought out when watching it on screen which is why i think it takes longer for some people to feel the connection between the leads. I've really like this from the start because I kind of filled in the blank with what I think are the missing pieces. Like with the bed scenes and why Kim stayed with Khamol, I've read other stories with BDSM which includes reasons they are attracted to it, the trust you kind of have to have with someone for it and also mentions aftercare. The scene in episode 1 where Khamol is caressing Kim in the bathtub is kinda like that but it's never mentioned or showed in the drama. I'm glad this episode is so sweet cause it did take a while to get to it. AND I told you Evan ( I called him Ivan in a previous comment) was hot! He's not my #1 pick for no reason 😆😉
