Very bittersweet ending as expected. I cry during the last half. Poor In, he will forever live with that close heart. Even though it didn't end happily, I wasn't mad at it. It was a beautifully made series. Still prefer my Disney endings though.

I think they had a possibility to end up Together but what she said to In when Wang was missing pushed him back into the trauma. Hence the message at the end ‘about parenting and not owning your child.’ In the end she continued to be herself… as well. In wasn’t the only one that didn’t change.

I don’t usually comment but after watching this episode I had to.This show is a masterpiece. I was crying so hard but I wasn’t sad, I felt the bitterness of reality. The line that touched me the most was “ you can’t change people”. No matter how hard our pure-hearted Wang tried in the end he had to realize that love can be a one way street but you can’t create a relationship out of it if the other participant is not willing. Even if you know their desires if they don’t want to admit it you can’t change that. I also find that poetic that essentially from an outside lense it seems that all of our protagonists ended up at the same place they started but there are so much that changed inside them with the truth being revealed. Wang helping In build that “bridge “ that connects him to the real world is so beautiful even if In could not cross it it is still a huge step for him to go halfway, who knows one day he will cross it. I also love that Wang chose his mom not because his mom forced him, but because in her own way she only wants to protect him, wants the best for him even if she shows it in selfish ways. I relate to Wang the most, to his idealistic and innnocent World-view. He is so brave to put his heart out there and say the truth out loud, with a house full of cowards he was the only one willing the be real and honest. And poor boy got his heartbroken, he got so hurt. But that’s life, that’s why I found it sad but bittersweet, he puts himself out there , puts his heart out there and In was not brave enough to do the same and he probably will never be. And that is how it is supposed to be. There will be people in your life who are not supposed to be there forever, to grow old with you. Like In and Wang, these people gave eachother hard and important life lessons that they will take with them trough the rest of their lives. I truly loved and cried while reading these lines on my screen at the end: “To you who call yourself a parent, you can only give birth to them but you don't owe them” “to you who are still young, you have to bleed first before you learn” “to you who call themselves wise, don't let your cowardice get the better of you” “Pick a side or throw away what you beleive in"!

Everyone in my friend group has completely stopped listening to my opinion on this. I simply think that to be frank, In and Mon both deserve to be alone. They've been running from what should have been dealt with long before Wang was even old enough to have to deal with it, so they don't deserve his love when In pushed it away, and all she does is manipulate it. I want Wang to move on from them both, go to school, find his dream and find someone who will adore and love him wholeheartedly without him having to fight for it. He has the fortitude and strength to be who he is, and I felt that is how he needed to handle it in the end.

Thank you for writing a well-thought out comment. This series really is beautiful, and I'm glad it made people think in the way that it did. 😭💔
